i am heavily in favor of another meet. June 17th works for me as well...or the 16th. But I am out of the country from the 18th through the 11th of July so sometime before or after that would be great.

i am a maybe as well. Basically, I am going to wake up and if its supposed to rain all day, I am not going to make the trip from C-Bus and thus I will go to the next event in June.
  6. ^ i dont know why you quoted me. I was disagreeing with his assertion that he cant afford anything 'nice' in OTR. I dont pretend to know his finances etc, I was just saying I am looking at nice places in OTR that are affordable to college students like myself.
  7. i may be moving there in September. And I disagree with David, I think there are some nice places that are affordable for college students with a job. Im lookin at a couple of them right now.
  8. thanks for te updates. so what exactly is that being built in the first picture? By looking at the renderings, I am not quite sure if that is a commercial or another res.
  9. filled out the survey. Even though I am not yet 24 (the minimum age on this survey), I acted like I was and emphasized affordable units for the YP in my Additional Comments section.

so can I get some sort of verification with regard to another date? If so, I may just go to that one instead as it may be better for me schedule wise. Let me know!

well I am for whatever will produce the best event. This weekend seems good due to the fact that the Tempt Your Tastes thing is going on, etc. But if we need mods to be there to make it a better event, then thats cool. I can def. go/am going this weekend but if you change it, then I may not be able to go. When do you want to change it to?!?
  13. cmon cincy. this is huge!
  14. yea I dont know, maybe they are going to do both towers, although that would go against what they have said. Regardless, it would help if their website was worth a damn with regards to construction info. or maybe a webcam! bah!
  15. ^they have a location around osu now and its pretty urban although it is in Gateway (faux urban) etc and they also have one in grandview.....urban but not a lot of crime. i dunno.
  16. yes very nice. its funny, I was just in Pitt and you and I took some VERY similar angles of certain buildings in downtown!
  17. i like this ordinance. billboards are hideous!

i check their website every so often and I believe the number was at one time 28 pending. But it was at 25 for awhile so......it seems to me that 27 is enough to move forward.

ha! I love hat quote. officially my new motto!
  21. ^ha! i was thinking the same thing. good thing youre willing to ask cuz i didnt want to be the only uo'ian to not know! so....what does T5 and T6 stand for? I am sure it will be obvious once you tell us!
  22. ^we already have a beautiful skyline. While I dont mind more, bigger buildings, I would much rather see a focus on neighborhood development as opposed to these signature developments that stand in obvious contrast to their surroundings and dont fit in. I think a 'buildings race' would certainly create the latter, more negative effect.
  23. so anyone have renderings of this? hasnt corporex had this planned for awhile without a tenant? regardless, I am glad to see this happening, especially on top of a surface lot. I would rather them be downtown though, like in QCS.

so then whos getting all of pitts waste and pollution? It goes both ways. But who cares about this, imo, theres nothing like a good layer of smog to add to a neighborhoods charm and sex appeal :-)
  25. thanks for the pictures Rando. I am getting very excited about moving to Cincinnati in September.
