  1. at osu, we get out early june, im graduating on june 10th this year i believe. last day of classes ends the 1st of June.
  2. yea i dont really understand why they want to switch. there really is no difference. If youre on a quarter system, you take 3-4 classes each quarter and in each class, for 10-12 classes each school year. On semesters, you take 5-6 classes each semester I believe, for 11-12 classes each school year. In the 10 week quarter, you theoretically cover the exact same material in one class as you would in the same class in a 15 week semester, you just go at a faster pace in the quarter system. I have never done semesters and never will it looks like, but it seems quarters are faster pace with less classes at a time while semesters are slower pace with more classes at a time. Quarters do have one more week of class though, if you include each finals week, thats 33 weeks of class while semesters only have 2 finals weeks so thats 32 weeks. Damn you semester ppl!

wow, well this would be an ambitious project. i am quite familiar with this strip and it is definitely one eye sore after another in terms of signage and the fact that just about every business has access to the street. I love the idea and the west side sorely needs something like this. Do you plan on getting rid of the low end properties? If so, how? I think the key is to develop the intersections of Bridgetown and Glenway as well as Westbourne and Glenway, esp. since Western Bowl is there and the foot traffic is already around the area. Theres also a putt-putt and a Graeters I think, adding to the already pedestrian traffic.
  4. wahoo! i grew up on those hills. love that place and even though its no rocky mtn skiing, it is pretty good midwest wise i think!
  5. theyd have to tear down the shoe, temporarily play in US Bank Arena I would guess.

yea, unclerando is right, i am goin' in for planning. thats why i wouldn't mind living around ludlow, i have walked that walk from ludlow to the daap building before and it wasn't bad, esp when its warm out. plus, i go to osu now, so i am used to long walks. who are the main realtors around campus? here up at osu, i know all the realtors and their websites and they always have the desirable properties that i won't find on like rent.com or something. i dont mind driving to campus though, so i wouldn't mind living over in norwood/affordable hyde park. my sister had an awesome place in norwood when she went to uc and she said she only paid $235 a month. thats damn cheap if you ask me. I am willing to spend much more than that a month if it means I can live closer to campus.

  14. Hey everyone, I need some help finding an apartment. I am goin' to grad school at UC and am looking for a 3 bedroom place. I obviously want to live in the city, preferably close to UC. I really enjoy the Ludlow area and have a friend who lives there now. Definitely wouldn't mind living around there. Any Clifton-Corryville-Heights area or even Norwood-Oakley-Hyde Park information would be greatly appreciated. Of course, I am a student and so are my roommates so we need something reasonably priced. I have looked briefly but can't really find much. I knew I could come on here so..... HELP!!!!!!

its weird rando, when i first saw your desktop pic, i momentarily assumed it was music hall in cincy. it kind of looks like that setting though, and shows what that area could be.

  23. oh ok, west side of cincy. green township is huge with almost 60,000 ppl. i refer to it as past of western hills since calling it green seems dumb to me.
  24. im surprised this hasnt gotten any comments. i wish there was some sort of rendering or something. nonetheless, good news as always. really becoming an amazing corridor-the ohio river that is.
