  1. Bustown? I've never heard that used before. Ever. I'm not sure if it is all that informative of a nickname. Also, I've never heard anyone describe Columbus, Ohio as "the San Francisco of the Midwest". Ever. oh i did. if you watched that mtv show where they followed around the gay couple from columbus, one of the gay guys commented on how open cbus was to the community and how it was "the san francisco of the midwest." I disagree on the cbus being wealthier comment though. cbus doesnt have a lot of old money. but it is a white collar town so on the whole, it is doing well.
  2. sorry, i guess i was just making a rather worn out joke. the two suburb areas I listed, imo, are the exact opposite of progressive so i was just joking.
  3. ^ im confused about your confusion.
  4. and oh btw, just in case you ppl dont pick up on it......
  5. off the bat, 2 glaring omissions i notice: green twshp-western hills, oh and grove city, oh
  6. i want some points. i know ink got it first but i knew it so i should get like 5 points. 0 pts for ucplanner.

well, lets dosomething here. lets say new rome was a "city" even though it didnt have the population for it it was a village or whatever. ok, so that dissolved back into the township right? so if c-bus takes that land then one could argue that they ate a city. hhhhmmmm....lol
  9. it wasnt meant to be. plain and simple. so many opportunities here and there that we screwed up. you just knew the steelers were gonna win that coin toss cuz it wasnt meant to be for the bengals. oh well, next year maybe.
  10. definitely multiple cities. diversity is always a good thing. im so glad that i had the opportunity to go to osu for school, get away from home, still pay in state tuition, and get to live in a different environment that what i was used to. look at cali or texas, they all have thriving multi-city states. places like georgia and illinois have large cities that are magnets to the rest of the state but what about the rest of the state....maybe it gets forgotten about.
  11. too damn late for me. bah!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. ^well yea i agree, looking through the entire thing is frustrating. but rando's point is the fact that aetennis07 has been reposting the same question in a short time frame. just look at the dates on his posts. all aetennis07 would need to do is go through 2 pages tops to find his answer.
  13. lol ive been thinking the same thing. if someone has updates, i guarantee you they will post it. until then, relax!
  14. i didnt see any new renderings, unless youre referring to the main one thats been around for awhile now. if so, then yea i agree, it is a nice rendering.

well if i remembered correctly, and i could be wrong, but it was 21.
  20. atlas replied to a post in a topic in Completed Projects
right but i guess i was just confused b/c it used to say 'sold' and now it says 'pending.' I guess i was a little scared about it as i thought it may be a bad sign.
  21. atlas replied to a post in a topic in Completed Projects
http://www.edgecondo.com/pricing.pdf I noticed on this list that everything went from 'sold' to 'pending'. What is the motive behind this really? The good news is since th elast time I checked, the number of red listings went up.
  22. well i hope it actually does start construction in the spring. of course, that estimate is contingent upon more units selling between now and then so nothing is official in regards to that time table. still though, good to hear this is moving forward.
  23. yea ive never heard of this. 10 units....should sell. dunno though.

this thread is great. really gives me an idea as to what kind of skills i need to work on, etc when i go looking for a job. in 2 years, this thread better be around!
  25. yea maybe. after reading this again i think this is a negative article. it slews everything negative. when they talked about jos. a bank coming down there, they spun it negatively b/c macys lost sq ft. and the 5th and race condo project was spun negatively b/c it was supposed to be a nordstroms.
