  1. bump and i think its funny that osu is still cheaper than uc and many other publics around here. while case is the best school, could osu be the best bang for your buck and the best 'experience'?
  2. hey thats a surface lot around the 'shoe' in cbus. those are necessary damnit for tailgating and what not. go bucks.

well, i noticed someone said before duluth is still pretty poor and isn't sprawl technically a sign of prosperity-esp. in the US. Thus, no economic prosperity and thus no sprawl.
  9. c-dawg, i hope you didnt direct that towards me. hopefully you saw the mistake i made and how i defended osu's academics. I accidentally inserted my rant in front of the finished quote so it looks like i simply posted a quote. SO I will repost what I said just to clarify. Seriously? Like shopping malls ever deviate from the pre-packaged homogenized crap you seen anywhere else? Who moves to a place because of "great shopping malls"? This is UrbanOhio, right? I'll buy the "socially" part. :-P gggrrrr. im sure youre joking and im sure you know its the best public school in the state (take that miami). And its getting incredibly better every year. The average ACT score for this incoming class is a 26.4 and on top of that our enrollment has increased. Thats hard to do, esp. for the largest school in the nation. woo! go bucks!

  13. yea i agree with david. the more i live in cbus (go to osu) the more I realize how awesome columbus is. it really is nice. it has nice 'hoods and an open mind. I would love to combine cincys looks with cbus's attitude and bam, you have my perfect Ohio city.

anyone have a pic of this building?
  16. is $60-$70,000 a lot for just a lot () in that Harrison development or is that standard for maybe an acre or 2?
  17. so extreme. i seriously doubt that cincinnati is in this weird bubble where people there dont like outsude activity, they dont like nightlife, and urban lovers are virtually non-existant. such a strange attitude to have towards cincy in my opinion.
  18. ok, i was just a little.....mad.
  19. dumb comment....

how incredible would that have been.
  21. i love how we are all so familiar on a lot of fronts in this regard. where were you people when I was growing up? I was always into diff. toys than most boys lol.
  22. oh, and what i thought was most interesting is that when i told him i was from cincy, he said 'ever been to over the rhine?' Its weird how so many people think of otr when they think of cincy. ive had that experience a couple of times.
  23. its interesting, i got into a small car wreck the other day up here in cbus and when the officer was writing out my ticket, we had small talk and I told him I was from the Cincy area. He went on to say that Cbus has had a lot of cops come from Cincy who dont want to deal with the issues Cincy is facing. He said Cincy has probably lost a lot of good cops because of it. He went on to say that ppl complain when the cops do somehting and so if they back off people complain that nothing is being done so it is a lose lose situation. he said you couldnt pay him to work in cincy right now. A little side topic I know, but interesting nonetheless.
  24. gotcha. thanks for the clarification. was it better in st. louis i presume?
