Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
there is just no way they are simply widening the shoulders. they have completely de-done an I-74 bridge that goes over New Biddinger. If you go and drive out that way, you will see there is plenty of room and if the shoulders are that large, than its ridiculous. Theyve been working on it for almost a year now and fixing the shoulders shouldnt take that long.

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
ok, so I am digging this up, but every time I go home, barrells along harrison are still up. There are definitely going to be 3 lanes each way from the border to Dry Fork exit. I heard this was being paid for by the county and not ODOT. Anyone know why they are widening this stretch when it is still 2 lanes around the Montana Avenue exit 12 miles closer to the city?

Cincinnati: Downtown - The McAlpin
^ yea its kinda interesting. i guess it used to be apart of a major shopping area. I read a book about Little Rock's Central High integration and the main character visited Cincy (in the 50's) and talked about how big and incredible the cincy shopping district seemed to her. kinda funny i thought.

Cincinnati: Housing Market / Affordable Housing
^ so ok, let me get this straight, columbus's "downtown" is bordered by 670 to the north, I 71 to the east, I71/I70 to the south, and 315 to the west?

Cincinnati's 45228 zip code
Yea, Cleveland does not have overall higher incomes than CIncy region. If you picked a couple hundred people in Indian Hill, the numbers would be even higher. Therefore, you have to break it down into geographies like census tracts, zip codes, or block groups. I can attest that the highest average income in metro cleveland by BLOCK group is $543,749. Block groups are partiitioned into relatively equal populations if i am correct. Cincy's highest average income by BLOCK group is $562,991. Columbus's highest is $233,332. Pittsburghs is over $600,000. I need to look at the same data by zip codes sometime and census tracts.

Non-Ohio: Road & Highway News
so is cobb county, i assume, a major growth area in the atlanta region? Is there a lot of growth, in general, in all counties that surround fulton? Is there any revitalization going on in Atlanta itself or is all this growth we hear about in suburbia?

NCAA Men's Basketball: General News & Discussion
this entire situation absolutely defies logic. I cant think of one good reason UC didnt get in. I am trying to reason it with myself, but cant.

NCAA Men's Basketball: General News & Discussion
gggrrr. im still so mad. since im up in cbus i dont hear talk radio in cincy but i have heard from a friend that a lot of talk radio is talking up some conspiracy between littlepage and zimpher/the new UC AD. I dont for a second believe it without proof but any insight on that?
