^ I agree. I don't know what it would do to our hub status but I do know that it is hugely beneficial to have a hub at your airport. I wouldn't want to risk that.
  4. if florence wants to define themselves in this kind of way, kind of like a gateway to the southern twang, then its OK with me. I do not think its a negative in any way although some people view it as such.
  5. wahoo....woo. There really is a nice residential corridor being created along the river.
  6. Are you saying that rednecks and religious people are synonymous with one another? Because if so, then that minnset is so backwards. keep your close minded comments to yourself please!

That first picture is of my dad's business. Obviously, my last name is Meckstroth and one of the bros. is my dad. Kinda funny to see that. I used to work there during my summer vacations in high school.

    ^LOL
  10. great! lets get that baby built.
  11. ^ oh btw, the only exception to what I said about sprawl is the suburbs of Cincy and Dayton. A lot of those suburbs have cropped up because of their proximity to the two cities.
  12. I dont think it has anything to do with this. Again, I don't think Cincy's sprawl has anything to do with its location to other cities. If this were true, you would see sprawl to the south of Columbus because of its proximity to Columbus and you would see more sprawl in the south of Cincinnati because of its proximity to Louisville and you would see more sprawl on the west side of Cincinnati because of its proximity to Indy. The reason Cincy is more developed in the northeast is because of I-71 & I-75. They both take a northeasterly track through the Cincy metro. Having 2 main highways go through a geographically concentrated area is sure to have more people move there than, say the west side of Cincy, which only has one thoroughfare (I-74). When it comes to Columbus, it is a mixture of better transportation up north with 315, etc. and the whole upstream downstream thing, I think.
  13. Cincinnati sports are cursed. I am convinced. First Kenyon, then Griffey every year hes been here practically, then Palmer, and now Kirkland. I feel bad for the guy; hes never gonna be able to play at UC again, as hes played in too many games to red shirt this season. I think now they only have 8 players on scholarship. If Kirkland would have stayed healthy, they could have made an impact in the Big East. Now we will have to see. I guess atleast its not White or Hicks.
  14. hey, at the beginning of the season, if you told me the cincinnati bengals would win the afc north and go to the playoffs but lose its first game I would have taken it and given you $1,000 dollars. We should all be so happy the team is winning and is headed for bigger and better things....that is with a healthy Carson Palmer.

ive always been interested in the topography of certain areas. That picture of Cleveland from far away exhibits nice, sloping hills, etc. What are the suburbs and the surrounding areas of cleveland and akron like, especially to the southeast?
  16. I just want to see people who take care of their properties and take pride in their community. If thats the definition of gentrification, then i guess im for gentrification. if not, then i guess the word that defines what i said is what i am for instead.
  17. we talked about this in my intl. business class. Now I didnt read through the entire article, but my teacher said Toyota isnt even sure if they are going to locate this plant. Its kinda funny all these places are fighting for a plant that isnt definitely going in. But, on the other hand, i suppose its best to get a quick start on things. hopefully this thing comes to fruition. i would like to see it in clinton county... i dunno why, i just do. go wilmington!
  18. I think this is a cool idea I just wish it was in Hamilton County and not in east bufu. There are places in the county this could be done, especially the western parts.
  19. I totally agree. I have a '97 Honda CRV with 240,000 miles on it and it never ran better.

i second this. I know some things and can distinguish some styles but am nowhere near an expert on this. Some pictures, etc would be awesome and very helpful.
  21. awesome tour. I love that part of cincy.
  22. i was suppost to be in his marketing class this past quarter but once he was found guilty, I got a new teacher. He was supposedly a really good teacher too...and when I say good I mean easy.
  23. too many emotions to write in words. Therefore....... :? :x    :| :shoot: :wtf: :wtf: :whip: :drunk: :weird: :argue: :argue: :finger: :finger2: :bang: :box: :behind:
  24. someone needs to do a photo tour of all the osu construction, like the RPAC and the new Research tower and the new Smith lab, etc. It would be nice to see.
