Cincinnati Public Schools: Development and News
yea, I am from Harrison!!! And yes I know people have adopted it as their own....."redneck women'' by Gretchen Wilson. But you can see the same thing in a lot of rap songs, but that doesnt make it OK to use the 'n' word. I could easily see a situation where a picture was taken of guys in, say Northside, or on North High Street, and someone would say, "oh, looks like you got a homo in your picture there" and that would resoundingly be criticised as close minded and insensitive. Thats all I am gettin' at here!!!

Cincinnati Public Schools: Development and News
Grasscat, I dont want to be picky or anything and am not picking a fight, but how do you know that guy is a redneck out of curiousity? To me, it seems like a close minded thing to say. What is a redneck anyway? It seems like a snobbish word to me, but thats just my opinion! You probably think I am an idiot for saying this, but its kinda true. Sorry, I was just reading through another post and everyone was calling people in Ohio close minded, etc. but these same people make these type of comments about rednecks or hillbillies all the time based on pictures, etc. It seems a bit like the pot calling the kettle black. I am sure I will get criticised for this and shouldnt post this, but it has been on my mind for awhile. I guess its because I come from what you would call a 'hillbilly' area and am sensitive to such comments.

Cincinnati: Crosby Township - Fort Scott
This excites me!!! Southwest School District will welcome this addition with open arms. Does anyone know what Fort Scott is? Currently, there is something there and its obviously called Fort Scott. I don't know anything about it. If anyone could help with this information, that would be great!

Cincinnati: West Chester - Ikea Coming to Union Centre
Yea Texas is pretty big but if I am not mistaken, OSU is also the largest campus in the country in terms of area as well. Also, I think summit street counted 58,000 in Franklin county for OSU. There are no other branches in Franklin County to my knowledge. They are located in places like Marion and Mansfield and Lima and Newark. So 58,000 in Franklin county was wrong. Also, I think its more like 60,000 when you include all branches, but I could be wrong.

Cincinnati: Green Twp - Legacy Place
No, thats not where I am thinking. There is a strip mall on Harrison Avenue where Kroger used to be before it shut down and moved by the theatre down the road. I think there is a K-Mart there now. I think they filled the old Kroger up with some mattress store, but I forget. This strip mall is on the left side of the road if youre heading towards Glenway. I know there has always been problems with filling that particular strip mall.
