Cincinnati: Green Twp - Legacy Place
My guess is in the old Kroger complex area on Harrison Ave. Now, there is a new Kroger by the movie theatre. I forget if theres a K-Mart there too, but in that complex, I remember there being empty stores and that is practically across the street from where they want to build this center. I for one am for it. The west side needs more options! I say, put it in Harrison...hahaha, oh no wait, theres a Super Wal-Mart going there. Oh well!!!

Cincinnati: Google Maps Guessing Game
Yea, it is a cool view. That neighborhood has some nice homes in there. Also, I am from Harrison and this place is practically right next door, so I know a bunch of people my age that live there that went to our rival school, East Central. Also, I have been to the Willy's there a few times recently. Anyway, looks like its my turn so here we go. I hope this isn't too easy or too difficult, I really have no clue! http://maps.google.com/maps?q=cincinnati&ll=39.254022,-84.739265&spn=0.021930,0.031586&t=k&hl=en POSTED BY montecarloss: Atlas, I modified your posts to clean up the multiple errors. It should be right now.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Queen City Square
No, they mention Phase II under building specs, location, and floor plans. Check it out!

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
Yea, I mean my personal opinion is that Columbus's convention center is much, much uglier than Cincy's. But that is just me, I am sure people would disagree!

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
Really? Well that isn't the conventional wisdom around here (but who can trust these Harrison folk) plus it seems a bit extensive to redo the entire bridge where I-74 crosses over New Biddinger Rd. just for a few feet of widening the shoulders!

Cincinnati: Walnut Hills - The Overlook at Eden Park
So why are the floor plans for this tower the exact same as the Harbor Greene towers in Bellevue? Are they being developed by the same people or what?

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
No, they're definitely widening the entire stretch out to Indiana. Right now, they're widening a bridge that crosses over New Biddinger Road in Harrison. They have orange barrels along the entire stretch. Currently, the New Haven bridge is being widened to 6 lanes and I didn't know if this money was opened up in conjuction with that project. I never heard about any plans to widen the area where I-275 and I-74 are combined. That would be nice as well, although I don't think it is needed!

Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Projects & News
So I guess they are widening I-74to 3 lanes each way from where it splits off I-275 all the way to the Indiana border. Where did this money come from? I had no idea this was ever in the works. Any insight would be appreciated!

Cincinnati/NKY International Airport
What about the west side of Hamilton county? I know there is a lot of good land, especially in Crosby Township, where a major airport could have been located. Was that ever discussed or was it even possible? If that would have happened, the growth in that area would have been awesome and stayed in the county. What does everyone think....just throwing things out there.....

Where do you live?
I live in Harrison, Ohio. It is about 20 mintues west of Cincinnati in Hamilton County, right on the Indiana border....yeeee-haw. It is fairly rural although a lot of people are moving out there as it is some of the last developed land in the county. I live on the highest natural point in the county :-D,(Marvin Rd.) which is pretty cool. From my backyard, I can see the WEBN fireworksall the way from the Ohio River and also when the Reds used to win or hit a home run. Now I think they just shoot them out of those tall stacks. I can also see Rumpke Dump. I bet if Cincinnati had Key Tower I would be able to see it from my house. My house is in a rural setting kind of....I have neighbors a few hundred feet away, but it is 5 mintues from I-74. My home is roughly 25 years old. It is a fairly typical mid-size ranch. We sit on 10 acres, expect unfortunately all around our property development has taken place. Harrison has a nice, small downtown that has recently been re-done. There are some nice street scapes down there. Right now, I go to Ohio State.

Forest Park: Forest Fair Mall / Cincinnati Mills Redevelopment
Well this is not good news so I will give good news. My mom works at the Saks Outlet at the mall and tells me the sales have dramatically increased since the opening of the mall (can't remember the exact percent but it was big). Saks was open before the mall opened during the renovations. Anyway, she says the mall is always busy and the traffic is terrible. I have personally been there 4 or 5 times and was always impressed with the amount of people in the mall as well. I also always went into the Cincinnati Gallery store and it was depressingly dead. That store is not a good example for the rest of the mall I believe.

Ironton, OH.....and Waverly, OH
I believe the state's most southern city is South Point. I am not sure, but I believe the last time I was down there, that is what the sign said.

Columbus: Ohio State Main Library Renovation
I personally like the renderings. The back addition is a huge improvement. Currently, the back portion sticks out like a sore thumb because it was the third addition I believe, and is just pure concrete. So anything new would be great for that part of the building. Too bad I will have graduated by the time this thing is done!!!

Cincinnati: Corryville: The Village at Stetson Square
See, I am not assuming that Miami is best, like you are. You need to read Newsweek sometime and also the Wall Street Journal. I think you will find interesting rankings there.

I almost went to UC but decided to go to Ohio State. Thank God!!! Hell, I am still here. Afterall, I am only a sophomore...anyway, the two schools don't compare. Come on guys, UC is not a good school outside DAP. Ohio State is rated as the best public school in the state tied with Miami. Also, OSU is rated as the 61st best school in the nation, regardless of public or not. That is a first tier school. UC is somewhere in the abyss of 3rd tier schools. There is obviously no comparison!!!
