  1. 2 and 4.
  2. Oh it gets better 😄 (language NSFW)
  3. I love this!!!
  4. 100% agree- and could likely add more glass to the skyline. Height-wise, I'm hoping for something as tall as the Hilton. Having that right next to the main headquarters would enhance the visual of the site even more (and you west-siders will get some of the better views). Not to get off topic, but one of my favorite Cleve skyline shots is to the south- specifically at Zelma George along Kinsman. The SHW headquarters should will fill a significant gap and make that view even better.
  5. Just saw this on Facebook regarding St. Vincent's Hospital...
  6. Saw this on Facebook just now...
  7. Outstanding photos @NorthShore647!!!
  8. Well, even with those two it passed Landmarks Commission 3-2. Hopefully, with larger projects that have the chance to impact the city in a positive way, it remains a 3-2 majority even with the two naysayers on the Commission itself.
  9. A few from the Nautica Pavillion this past weekend…
  10. City council voted on and passed an ordinance that hurts housing development in the City? Which ordinance?
  11. Call me a traditionalist- but I'll always consider Cleveland Clinic to be in Fairfax. Because it is.
  12. Midtown maybe? If they’re looking for a “campus”, agreed downtown wouldn’t work.
  13. Talk about losing in spectacular fashion... with beakdowns in communication two weeks in a row on defense. We should not have lost because of the missed extra point or because of the last second interception. The game was in the bag with two minutes in the fourth!
  14. Yes- and thank heavens for that. I think we all hated the Parking Lot District which survived for too long downtown. I’m glad to see it disappear.
  15. Oh... I think this qualifies as huge news... @KJPDo you know about this?
  16. Huge- this is regionalism.
  17. Calling @KJP do you copy- please respond 😄
  18. Schwartz is the new Greg Little.
  19. This here. Historic building, downtown location. Except for not being historic, the PD building makes sense as well.
  20. I’m only counting the actual census when it comes in 2030 compared to the 2020 numbers; the off-year estimates have been just that… off. The economic numbers for the region are not like in the 80s and even the 90s. We’ve pretty much shedded the rust off regarding manufacturing, which last I checked is either the third or fourth largest employing sector of our economy. That’s a big change from a generation ago. Ed’s and meds have been leading for a while now and before the pandemic was growing at a nice rate every year. Though there was a slight dip in employment, there was nowhere close to the drop-off in numbers that the region would experience during recessions when manufacturing was king. The city is literally poised for growth- for real this time- during the next census. Anyone willing to take my bet? 😄 Edit: sorry for taking this off topic!
  21. I’m convinced that 2020 will be the last year that Cleveland sees a drop in population. Willing to bet a billion dollars on it, or a pack of beer; whichever I can afford in 2030 😄
