  5. The encyclopedia project states that there are 3 (or 4 can't remember), and I believe they are using the more strict original definition with Millionaire's row ending at E. 55th Preservation ohio says 8 1/2 I covered them in this thread: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php?topic=4680.0 Oh, feel free to make a bruer 'back on topic' just for me.
  6. ^hey, we've still got 8 1/2 (or 9 1/2) of the mansions lying around! (out of how many?)
  7. Any other input out there?
  8. Not to belabor the point, but you post separate threads for Delaware County and Fairfield County growth, and these are surely part of the Columbus metro, so why treat Cleveland's surrounding counties differently? How do you decide whether an article pertaining to Medina County goes in Cleveland or Akron-Canton? How about when you take the time and effort Grasscat does to find all of these articles, then all of you can damn well decide where they go
  9. apparently you've never been downtown when the Bengals are in town.

  11. I'm not a census-ologist, but there actually are "tests" that the census performs to see if two cities really are linked (i.e. commuting patterns, worksite, home address). Maybe one of our GIS dorks can chime in.
  12. Current FYIs looks like Dayton has tentatively booked May 19th. The two Clevelanders have given hints towards June 2nd. Skyscraperpage seem to be leaning towards a Pittsburgh meet May 12th.

  18. Thats good! I will probably be heading up to Detroit after this spring quarter ends. I'll have a little break after the quarter ends and the next co-op job begins. So I think I am heading up to N. Michigan to enjoy some of the beautiful sand bottom lakes! I'll have to give you guys a heads up when I'm coming. I'm sure we could round up a posse for you.

  21. rando, MCS isn't going anywhere, it would cost more to take it apart piece by piece (explosive demo is impossible), than it would to entirely guy/rehab the building.
