  1. And without a federal and state government to subsidize such happy energy friendly work (see also Germany and its subsidies of the solar panel market.)
  2. was that entrance always there? I don't recall it. I do recall seeing a cut-out for it, but it looked to be blocked off by shelves and what not.
  3. ^whole foods was not built great......I don't recall being able to enter from the main focal point of the intersection (Cedar/Warrensville).
  4. So did anyone notice the red balloons? I had a certain song stuck in my head all day yesterday during my jog.

  6. I heart HH. Though the two that I know of in Cleveland are less than perfect. HH in Fl was actually quite good for chain pizza. I did not realize they had them around here. Yeah, they are a Metro Detroit based Chain and they expanded out to AZ and Fl first if I recall. FYI, Metro Detroit is home to three national chains: Hungry Howies, Dominos and Little Caesar's
  7. Jerry and Jet, Is there some kind of benchmark of funding from the State that RTA might be aiming/wishing for. Either as a raw number or a % of expenses? And just for disparities sake, what is that current amount? Does RTA aim to have funding like System X somewhere else in the nation?
  8. Let's see, University Circle, Little Italy, Coventry, Shaker Square, Cleveland Heights and now Downtown.

  12. i have seen so many people bite it on that crosswalk, I still laugh every time.
  13. I'm sorry Mama Santa's just hasn't been the same since the old pizza chef retired in the early 2000s Yeah, but it's still good and dirt cheap. I'd take it over chain pizza any day. Oh, and Valentino's has been run by different people the last couple of years too, but it also tastes close to what it used to. Speaking of dirt cheap, I miss the old Captain Tony's on Coventry. There used to be a CWRU discount, something like a large one topping w/ delivery for 7 bucks.

I'm willing to be they'll be looking hard at what Michigan is doing right now with the most aggressive subsidies in the industry. So aggressive that Ray Liotta was in my parent's backyard last week. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0403702/locations

  20. At least you could have given the thread an appropriate title.
  21. HUSH! then vote! Or I could just lock it.
  22. No really, I love discussing other buildings, other architects, renderings that aren't final or tentatively labeled as so, other cities, architect's websites, whether an architect will get a commission here in Ohio again, other cities......
