East Coasters with Kiddo Moving to Cleveland
The SHAD website mentioned by MyTwoCents maintains a list of Shaker Square "approved rentals" http://www.shad.org/rentals.htm has a contact point listed to get their booklet, I'm sure they would be willing to mail you a copy which could provide a good cursory overview to the properties available. Once you might have a few in mind, some of the current (i.e. MyTwoCents) and past Residents (i.e. me) could provide you with more guidance.

Planners with private firms can charge 145 an hour here...and they're still cheaper than lawyers. There's a huge difference for what a Company chargers per hour for services versus what pay is. For Example my hourly rate that my company charges for me is 220/hour. Needless to say I don't make 450k a year.

Cleveland: Innerbelt News
As i read your post all i could think is I-696. Then a sentence later you hit it. The large parks are on the caps are due to the large Orthodox/Jewish community that voiced their concerns over the populace being split from their respective temples. Crazily enough, MDOT responded. This is the best my lazy googling could come up with:

If I recall correctly, simply by having a porch/steps you reduce your heating bills by 5-10%. Can anyone put any validity to that?
