okay now we are just splitting hairs. If i wanted to be more annoying, i'd say: the state cant enforce the law, not your "the state does not plan to enforce"

i'd really love to see what hamilton is truly capable of (other than doing a line of coke off of the coffee table)

I'm wondering if i'll regret posting that. Oh well, I'll just never check back in at this thread.
  6. only to nitpick on one team, in this case, Rutgers: When you beat north carolina and illinois from the "big conferences", you might as well be beating the retarded red-headed step child in the conference. You might as well be proud about calling star jones fat.

if you're an audiophile, its doesn't take more than a few seconds to figure out that most mp3 players on the market (i.e. creative labs) are technically superior in terms of sounds quality, battery life, file quality (128kbps for itunes), file transferability, etc. when compared to the ipod/itunes. Granted much of this has been slowly improving with each iteration of the ipod, but maybe one day they'll finally get it right (to at least my preferences, which is why i prefer other mp3 players) I don't mean to steer the discussion way too far off subject, but just because apple makes it, and everyone and their mother has it, doesn't mean its the best product on the market.

you can't break a law that doesn't exist.

Since when did Kosar become a lush? :wtf: oh you missed him during the wkyc pre-season games. Guy was hammered every time on the air, it was hilarious.
  14. Hey, quick question. Suppose I encounter a situation where the fare is 5 bucks, and the driver "conveniently" has no change for a 10. (thus the aforementioned 100% tip scenario) Aside from the reporting suggestions given. Can I simply call him a liar, and walk off from a fare? I just find it hard to believe that cabbies don't have a reasonable amount of change on them.
  15. ^seriously. While I don't shop at walmart specifically, if I'm headed into a big-box retailer (grocery stores included), I make sure I have a list of at least 10 things I need. Yeah sure I need plastic solo cups for my keg party, but i'll gladly pay the 20 cents extra by purchasing it at the local CVS/Wallgreens instead of wasting time and opportunity costs at a big-boxer.
  16. The blob is cool! I second that emotion!

  18. I 110% agree with your last sentence.
  19. From up here on my hill, I don't see this as getting better through personnel management. Its like shapiro is banking on ever player getting better this year. I think they tried that in 2006 following the 2005 campaign. Look how that turned out.
  20. Yeah but the Subway on public square closed, what does that say?
  21. sorry, I just have to post this snippet: Gators apparently have short-term memories It's the story, in all its glory, of Florida's 1996 national championship. It's the story of how the Gators lost their final regular-season game -- to archrival Florida State, no less, and by three points, no less, and on the road, no less -- but were granted a rematch in the Sugar Bowl during the days of the old Bowl Alliance, a forerunner of the Bowl Championship Series. This time the Gators won -- a 52-20 blowout -- and were voted the consensus champion. http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061206/SPORTS06/612060303/1054/SPORTS

Mich. bars, restaurants may attract Ohio smokers December 6, 2006 ASSOCIATED PRESS MONROE, Mich. -- Ashtrays may inspire more Ohioans to cross over into Michigan for a spot to light up because smoking is being banned in nearly all of the Buckeye State's indoor public places, including bars and restaurants. The Ohio law takes effect Thursday. "We're hoping to get a lot busier starting Thursday," Sheryl Anstine of Lambertville, manager at Firehouse 47 Bar & Grill in Ottawa Lake, told The Monroe Evening News. "We hope to see a lot more people from Toledo visiting our place." http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=200661206038
