Smith BY SHANNON SHELTON FREE PRESS SPORTS WRITER November 27, 2006 University of Cincinnati head coach Mark Dantonio will be introduced as Michigan State's new head football coach. The Michigan State Board of Trustees unanimously approved a recommendation to hire Dantonio at a special meeting Monday. The five-year contract guarantees Dantonio about $1.1 million a year. It also has a $200,000 signing bonus and incentives that could boost his income.
