there is something to be said about a lazy day on the river, drinking and watching them go by. At least here in cleveland, if i chose so I can live downtown along the cuyahoga and watch them try and navigate their way through. Which is quite entertaining.

    Ferndale is my hero.
  8. going back to ice wine: Make sure the bottle reads "ice wine" and not "iced wine". Generally "iced" means it was harvested then chillled during the ageing process. While "ice" means it was left on the vine.

how about the three Cleveland PD officers sitting in the portico of Tower City get off their lazy asses and actually enforce the "no loitering & smoking" signs in the two reduced exits leading out to public square...(more concerned about the loitering when its a game to try and get through there)

  22. ^on the surface you'd think the opposite would happen. Case: world's lamest party university (both princeton review and playboy put them in the top 20), so less distractions=better grades OSU: world's greatest party university, more distractions=better grades. And yes i realize its a pointless personal story. Just one of my own personal reasons why I don't like surveys. hell when applying for jobs here in cleveland (or where CWRU name recognition is high), they are more concerned that you graduated from case than what you GPA was.
  23. random pope anecdote, A good friend of mine in the case school engineer lasted 2 1/2 years and eventually failed out. Goes to OSU, graduates summa cum laude
  24. they could transfer to the CFL......
