re: university circle a many year old rumor had a mixed use development going in that small park in the northeast corner of the station, that rumor surfaced around the same time as the plans for the brook park station. I'm going to bet its completely dead.....
  11. seriously i just thought that was common street sense. I know it does suck that one has to have "street sense", but isn't that one of the first lessons anyone should know about downtowns?
  12. zacey, did you ever live in the dorms? (cant remember the name of the ones that got all the CIA students)

i remember seeing gay fuel when i was in the short north, i was confused, but if i recall x% goes towards HIV/AIDS research or some other noble goal.........
  14. yeah, one of the "public" answers i've heard is that because the tower was going to be on/near the waterfront, the FAA wouldn't allow it because of the flight paths coming in and out of burke lakefront airport (which really is a crock of shit, LAX makes planes come in and out at horribly steep angles to avoid "airplane noise" over the nicer areas)
  15. well the FAA gets some blame for this one too.......
  16. at the time union terminal was the largest excavation project in the world outside of the panama canal (or something along those lines, i'm sure mayday will correct me) dropped balls ameritrust tower (not cleveland's fault) progressive tower (well whose fault is it really?)
  17. say "hi" to TRW on the way there!
  18. cleveland heights has the same deal. Its nice to literally have a cop living on every other block (for the uniformed CH PD supposedly has the highest cop/citizen ratio around)
  19. yeah, that's the big art-deco-y station, i don't recall ever seeing a greyhound at the amtrak or any listing for it, oh well.........
  20. ^the last thing i need is strobe-ing color effects when stumbling through the short north........
  21. since when did they stop at cleveland amtrack in the first place?
  22. ben rothlisberger would be proud
  23. just now they care about the environment? "see you at the culdesac!"
