  1. I think you are confusing it with the building on the opposite corner of Euclid (there were photos of exploratory de-sheathing earlier).
  2. The 6 has my all time favorite transit story. Crowded 6 on the way to downtown, packed bus. There's one open seat. Hanging from said seat is a maintenance required form. Listed under other, "passenger urinated himself".
  3. No, after getting back to Cleveland, i realized that I totally spaced on street shots. I'll be back in Toronto probably two more times before year's end, so don't worry.
  4. All seem fine to me, I'll defer to the tourist.
  5. Yes, actually its preferred.
  6. I'm still on for a quick lunch.

Uh, the Euclid Tavern! Close, well actually, it was everywhere else. Coventry, Lee Road and Downtown. When I lived on the Square, the Euc was long closed by then.

I don't want to jump on your bad side, but for a 22 year old male who is in the hey day of socializing and what not, I'm not sure SS may be his best option. When I lived on the square I was around the same time, just post college. But you know where I spent about 92% going out to be with the other young people? Hint, its not SS. Granted, that's not the only reason to pick a neighborhood, but SS didn't seem like a good fit for me at the time, just looking for places to tie on a few beers with many like minded people. Its going to depend on your preferences and where you put emphasis. SS has a good scene, but it didn't fit me at all at that age.

so we are comparing two 5+ Million MSAs to one less than half that size? I don't see the jones buying a place in the Quarries saying, "well if my cousin in alpharetta can handle the 43 mile commute, then I sure as heck can!" (disclaimer, I have no idea where alpharatta is on a map)
  10. okay, richard simmons turns heads, but the doggie only gets on comment? They are both advertising for the same thing, just different companies.
  11. Was that a Troy, MI reference?
  12. Maybe some one knows what's going on (and the appropriate term) but: There is the exterior scaffolding/elevator life on the outside of 1011 Euclid. I'm only guessing its 1011, because is the black/steel/glass facaded building between 1001 and 1021
  13. thanks all for swinging' by. For the most part I kinda agree with you regarding the buildings, but mostly because the bland so far outnumbers the ones I like. I still love Canada Trust, maybe because Its an art-deco-cake-tier-reminds-of-a-modern-penobscot-throwback
  14. Nothing noteworthy here, go about your business. Eticokobokeiesrtlce, or whatever the annexed city is called. I mean, How can I not come all the way to Toronto and dream of Rush? I'm not stereotyping, as per the usual, I'm speaking in terms of my own experiences with Frats and those I know in Frats. But you're taking your own experiences from Frats from when you went to college in 1934 and extrapolating them upon other people, fraternities and schools. Sounds like stereotyping to me.
  16. the pope replied to a post in a topic in Urbanbar
Not you. you can't be one of them. Will you please stop stereotyping Fraternities and Fraternity Types?
  17. hey, stay off my stoop! Oh, and the garage door at May Co. is back open again. Sub-walls are up, and there's wood and fun stuff being dropped off.

Oh god, and the Cleveland Heights "bums", there's only like three of them, so its really easy to keep track of them. There's one guy who used the same car out of gas story for about 5 years straight on Coventry.
