  2. ^on that thought, the reason Severance Town Center has the name severance is b/c it was the former estate of "that" severance. And where the current musicians tower is (coventry area tall building) i believe is the former site of jeptha wade's home.......(i could be wrong but it was one of those old famous clevelanders)

my one experience with maier led me to sour on NOACA basically he sounded like every ignorant suburbanite out there, basically saying the solution to all of cleveland's traffic and growth problems was more freeways, wider roads and more lanes (i'm obvioulsy paraphasing, but that's what it boiled down to)

since i'm a homer handsdown my favorite freeway view is from I-75 in SW Detroit. You're busy driving through the oil refineries and the rest of the detroit industry, you hit a giant cement bridge, and then "bam" there it is, however its not that far away.......

  21. ^well there's not much charm to living under an airport and with conrail lines in your backyard, and a ford engine plant out your window
  22. cleveland hts presents an odd scenario b/c they really have like 5 or so mini-downtowns: Coventry Village Cedar-Lee Cedar-Fairmount Cedar-Taylor Heights-Rockefeller (kinda a stretch) Actually Ten mini-downtowns/districts if you ask the city, http://www.clevelandheights.com/commdist_districts.asp
