  11. i have been to port stanley, nice enough area, but nothing extraordinary. Its about 25 minutes south of London, ON the midway point between Detroit and Toronto. London's a nice happy town, but once again nothing special. I guess you could hop on the VIA Rail to toronto then........

  15. so yeah, basically i just threw darts at a map to decide where to go this past weekend. I discovered many "wonderful" towns, such East Liverpool featured in this craptastic tour. Now you don't have to go to the EL b/c i've been there and i can certainly not recommend it. when in need call upon the pope for a fantabolous tour Yes, even in backwards east liverpool they have a library i came in 5th place the masonics happy havel the alleys are super creepy with these weird transformers, and i found them in my next two cities as well....very odd well every random ass ohio city is known for something, and for East Liverpool its pottery!!!!! Their high school mascot is even the potters god, the man looks the same he did 30 years ago well what do you know, the IOOF's are well respected in this town the building in question no, not the people's bank and trust, but the potters bank and trust.....seriously well i guess "the pool" has one famous resident.... random streetscape a poorly planned public space! not so many happy buildings downtown okay, this one is, he took his flintstone vitamins as a kid i think a law & order episode was filmed here this area reminds me of broadway & 55th in Cleveland more than one IOOF location in one city, what a country! city hall, yay! some nice detail....... greco roman skateboarders random house church ave. the pool has a few decent homes..... but you're more likely to see this where the beatles were raised great place for hot dogs, also a location in waren, yum uh...houses? hark! what's this? that's right its a bridge! complete with industry! go ohio river! then i realized that i was headed to wild wonderful wacky west virginia, and i turned around mighty high from ivan goodbye east liverpool, i'll never stop again

  20. on this subject, everyone should go pick up Asphalt Nation by Jane Holz Kay. A great easy read on the amazing american reliance upon the automobile, touching on everything from its impact to the environment, to mass transit, urban planning, etc. you get the idea.........
  21. however, someone should tell chagrin falls that scenic improvements (lighting, bushes, etc.........isn't there something called the Five B's?) wont do much in the long run....
