I'm rarely dip. Most often its hiking or canoing when carrying a lighter, smokes and keeping them dry aren't an option. And David, giggle to your story.

  4. There is a frequent (1-2x daily) ferry that runs all Summer: Sandusky > Pelee Island > Leamington/Kingsville Pope still vacations on Pelee, so he still uses the ferry.
  5. nothing says "innovative" like "cobol based applications"
  6. Scale it down (a lot) and you end up with Key Tower, tons of people working inside, however, no reason for those people to leave, or the public to enter.

Dear Diary, I once lived or heard or could wikipedia an old european town. I posted about it. Regards, Back On Topic.
  8. how long have we been waiting for anything on this block? wait any longer and we end up with a renaissance center (the ultimate 700ft street life sucker)
  9. FYI, We have a thread for that: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,1205.0.html
  10. Well, I don't know. Then Jacobs has a void to fill in their current location. SS&D has already explicitly said they are looking. Don't recall if it was a space crunch, or just end of lease.
  11. Does anyone think Squire Sanders & Dempsey is a shoo-in for this building because they already are in a Jacob's owned property? (maybe a stretch)
  12. And with that:
  13. Agreed, I was trying to double check the target completion dates for the stretch outside of my Building. I found a diagram which had the estimated time lines for completions of various areas. However, Now I cant find that document anywhere and I've forgotten.

  18. so did you just walk into spinnaker's? I remember going through that area a few weeks ago, and it appeared one could just walk right in through the front door.

why is it when we discuss oil producing nations, we always seem to forget Canada? Maybe I'm missing something, but they have been our top importer for a while now: http://www.eia.doe.gov/pub/oil_gas/petroleum/data_publications/company_level_imports/current/import.html
  20. This is 100% incorrect. They are not related in any form, fashion or shape! I don't see a Le Meridien for Cleveland, nor do I want one BEFORE a W Hotel, Westin, Aloft or Element. Hell I would even take a convention sized Sheraton before a LM. According to my sources, it won't be a starwood or a starwood capital property at the AmeriTrust site. Moving on and back to the Flats East Bank. As far as my 5th Grade reading level teaches me, they were related: http://www.starwoodcapital.com/hotel.html
  21. Quick! Extend the Blue Line down here, and go buck-wild TOD!
  22. that first new one is awesome.

BRT is certainly the poor man's version of an actual rail line. With that said, it is still a step in the right direction. Cleveland remains the only Ohio city to have a rail line, and will be the first with BRT. Hopefully Cincy and Cbus can get the job done on their respective streetcar plans. I hate to steer off topic, but its hard to say certainly
  24. we clearly like to drink more than the rest of ohio.
