  1. I don't disagree with your idea, but I disagree with your rationale. The city needs to serve its current (and future) downtown residents, throwing in a 5-star hotel and juju's fine jewelry isn't going to do much for us normie yuppies who just want basic services. Last I check the upper class still needs grocers, basic retail and whatnot
  2. well the camera does add 10 tons.
  3. but the pig looks really nice, had me fooled.
  4. I have to admit I've never heard of it (starwood, yes, this concept no)

and I know I'm more attractive when spitting into a cup than with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth.
  7. The McFadden's of the world disagree
  8. Funny I just noticed two different signs for Montlack apartments on Hampshire, one was the old standby green and one was a newer blue one. Wonder if it was just a marketing change, or related to what 3231 brought up.
  9. waah waah, I don't have an answer in three hours and I'm too degenerate to read posts waah waah.
  10. yes, a restaurant chain in Texas. Its all on their website.
  11. I'd say for Derbyshire (not knowing the exact house). That's a good area, you've got cedar Fairmount at your doorstep, Coventry a ten minute walk and you have the #32 Coming down cedar and the #7 coming down Euclid Heights. Both go either to Downtown or to the University Circle Rapid Stop.
  12. you guys make me smarter, Thanks!
  13. I don't want to go too far off, but perhaps others have the same question as mine: What are the disadvantages to a TIF, and who wouldn't want it?
  14. Since the article brought up the Free Press-Detroit Marathon, I think that one is real bad-ass because it covers two countries. How many different marathons can say that? (to canada via the tunnel and back via the bridge) And running is "up" all over the country. Look at the trends in registration in marathons and super-marathons (100 mi+)

Is that how you people in Cleveland speak? I think he is a product of cleveland public schools... wrong.... Fine Shaker, whatever, same thing (ducks)

Might have been the gateway bar and grill (or something along those lines). Dark, some purple theme with black? i've had two horrible experiences there. Both on Fridays and they were out of beer on tap except for guiness and Sam Adam's cherry wheat.
  20. In that case, just park one of the new vehicles on Euclid :-D Well they did have one there last year, just off Euclid.
  21. Question for Cincinnati Peeps in the music scene. I found a few mentions via the search function but figured this might be my best place to ask anew. Do any of you guys know anything about a band from Cincinnati called Moth? Their only presence on the internet is a myspace page http://www.myspace.com/moth that hasn't been touched in months. If anyone is curious, Revolution is a great song. If anyone knows anything about these guys, if they are still around or whatever, let me know.
  22. Sorry Pope! My main reason for posting that message was to stop the doomsayers from saying doom. It isn't warranted. It's good news, which will only show that the project is still alive. I just forgot how much the folks here like to pontificate when I drop one of my teases! Its not your fault, I certainly appreciate the heads up, just imagine Post #1: Cheesecake Factory? Post #2: (ColDayMan): Lawd have mercy! Post #3: ESPN Zone? Post #4: Tenant X and on and on..... Three pages later Me and Mayday have a bunch of poo to clean up.
  23. If you like Cedar-Fairmount, the majority of the doubles (with porch) will be on Grandview, Bellfield and Delaware; South of Cedar. If you liked Coventry (Served by the reasonably frequent #9, the #7 and the circulator to the rapid station) You might find a few doubles on Hampshire both a few blocks west of Coventry and East of Coventry.
  24. Before this spirals out of control, Any posts from here on out guessing about the details of KJP's Tidbit Will be Deleted
  25. I'm saying exciting, you are saying rare. And for a single play. 4HR isn't a single play, neither is a perfect game. Anywho, this is all a matter of preference. Fernando Tatis is the most exciting player EVER, and that's a fact.
