    ^^uhh. I know Shaker Square ain't perfect, but it pretty much is the best example of TOD (old School) in all of Cleveland. What do you want to do, bulldoze the square and build again? bulldoze your building?
  2. without meaning to sound snarky, WHAT public transit in Detroit? that was a town that had their attempt at creating a regional transit authority declared illegal by the courts... DDOT only provides bus service within the city limits of Detroit, and if you want to see an urban wasteland, that's a "shining" example of one... the rest of the area is still incredibly fragemented when it comes to providing public transit services he who lives by the automobile, dies by the automobile, I guess... 1) The 133,000 Daily riders must not exist then. 2) Detroit has a locally preferred route ready for the next phase of review for LRT 3) This website does not promote the bashing of other cities.   19. i'm not trying to make you be the old curmudgeon neighbor, but you should send these photos (and the other sets from previous accidents) to city hall and the police and write a strongly worded letter to do something: better enforcement, better signage, guardrails?) Its one thing for people to be hurting themselves, but its another thing with their actions could hurt someone else How many accidents do you see on average a year here?

    Don't know if its still an issue, but for most states have a centralized database, usually in tandem with the Department of Health or Dept of Vital Statistics.
