  1. I think the connection to the NKY should be a gondola (the alps type)
  2. So were where you when the announcements that the ceremony would be in Cleveland? Check the rock hall thread for further information. Probably in Cincinnati where they really don't care about the RRHOF, nor hear much news about it (relative to cleveland). And I'm no English teacher, but that sentence really, really hurts. Florida Guy, thanks
  3. Thanks for the find. I'm no architecture critic, but I do know a breath of "fresh air" down there is welcomed by me.
  4. Ooh, I'm a washed up HS kicker! I got all the babes during the season
  5. would his ip be issued/managed/routed through a central corporate natcity server?
  6. Most of their proposals or skyscrapers are at least "interesting" on some level. This is just flat out blah (IMO) Yea, they actually look normal, Well isn't that the fun part about Dubai, just to check out what cracked-out proposal they can come up with (and build) next? If I wanted boring, I'd go check Rossetti's portfolio.

As someone who is car free in Cleveland (Little Italy), and moving downtown at the end of April, I hope that they get on that soon. When I asked last fall, they said that one would be there by this winter/spring..... Yeah, I can use rental companies for weekend trips, but many of the downtown offices has piss-poor hours.

I'm currently about 98% car free. On average I drive about 2 miles a week. And these are mostly trips out of convenience (I'm still waiting on City Wheels to throw one downtown). My first few years in Cleveland were 100% car free, but at the time I was in college, and your world is so self-contained that you hardly notice.
  13. I haven't been out there in a while, but I think you may have missed the point of "saturated." In this case of the article I believe they mean, more than the market can tolerate, and its merely a case of cannibalization of the market.
  14. And apparently we've dipped back down into memory lane.
  15. How long have you been in Cleveland, you're not a native, correct? Do you remember Terminal Tower Concourse, pre-Tower City? I moved to cleveland in 1999. But don't worry, my pops has some old pictures to take me down memory lane of the old concourse.
  16. And me here, I never knew this existed.

Let's slow our roll and make the playoffs, first! Ha. I'm not trying to be debbie downer here, but remember all the articles the 49ers got lost year? Either way, prove me wrong brownies.
  18. Rapid (Blue Line) Was running perfectly Sunday Morning, nice work guys. Stations were a bit sloppy, but I saw crews out clearing and I'm understanding of just how much crap they had to dig out. PS: that front-loader/plow that runs on the tracks is bad ass, i want me one of them.
  19. it was funny (in a bad way) watching a #6 doing the old reverse-forward rock on public square this afternoon.
  20. ^Ouch I know the rapid doesn't fare so well with ice storms, but does it fare better with snow and related drifts?
  21. I dunno, you can't see further than 10 feet in front of your face. But, they are working as of 10 minutes ago.
  22. After walking to playhouse square, I can tell you that is not the case.
