  1. I'm also pissed at the Hampton Inn on 9th/Superior. They can manage to clear the area where their valet is, but they can't touch any of the remaining element of their property (assuming they are the property owner)
  2. ^the strip mall was kinda a tumor of an afterthought. How about you go visit it yourself, or look at the gallery I provided for a more accurate representation of it before spouting off hastily contrived criticisms. Hey, at least Detroit's masterwork of modern architecture is actually functional and working and still holds it beauty today (cough cough Ameritrust)
  3. I don't' want to get us off subject, but found a good flickr set of Lafayette Park if anyone cares

I'll probably aim for having a live draft Sunday March 23rd two days before the first game of the year. I'll set it up tonight. I'll be taking input on what statistics anyone cares about (anyone like Holds? Or size of roster, want a full 25 man roster?). This will be a head to head league.
  5. ^w/o reading further into it, maybe I'll actually like cafaro from here on out.

  11. Some Days, trip planner is great, some days is not so great, like today. Gripe: It does a poor job of recognizing "St. Clair" You need to type "Saint Clair" Took me 7 different combinations to get it to work. St Clair, St. Clair, St. Clair Ave., St. Clair Ave NE, and finally "Saint Clair Ave NE" worked.

  15. This is different from the previous article regarding the private, shorter length LRT. This is more significant (IMO), because they are successfully navigating the Federal Waters to get $$$ ---------------------------- Study urges light rail on Woodward Avenue By Bill Shea An 18-month mass transit study in metro Detroit recommends building a publicly funded $371.5 million light rail line along eight miles of Woodward Avenue from downtown to the Michigan State Fairgrounds.
  16. Anyone interested?
  17. I have a great view from my office, but no camera. I might be able to get some later depending no how my day goes.
  18. AMEN TO THAT! That is why I think the folks in Chicago have the right to be upset with Macy's for eliminating the MF name. Its funny though, Detroiter's don't seem so jaded 10 years post their absorption into the Behemoth (Hudson's).
  19. Well.......at least its money for the economy.
  20. Calling out other forumers is never tolerated on this forum. This is also known as trolling. Consider yourself warned.
  21. Would it have been that hard to fix it yourself? You have an edit button you know.
  22. With euclid being torn up, you have to keep a look out for the orange "temporary stop" signs. Not very easy to spot after a storm like this.
  23. Excellent point, never thought of it that way.
  24. Are you saying you couldn't find either Red Line stop in UC? I'm not trying to sound critical here but a) there's maps all over b) ask a police man/security c) ask a person on the street
