Cleveland: Retail News
I checked their website, are the prices any less scary at the store than they are on the web?

Cleveland: Downtown: East 4th Street Developments
I do nearly all of my grocery shopping at Dave's supermarket in Ohio City I go by train. Assuming you are shopping for a typical single male shouldn't be too much to carry. For heavier items (i.e. beer) I'll run to CVS/Constantino's/etc.

Michigan Tech launches undergrad rail program
We used to make our freshmen go into ENGR 148 (all engineers have to take it at CWRU), wearing a conductors hat. They would sit in the front row, and about five minutes into class, they'd have to ask "when do we get to the trains?" After being informed it wasn't that type of engineering, they would go running out, getting bonus points for sobbing in into a train whistle on the way out.

Cleveland: Steelyard Commons
I wouldn't call this urban. Close to urban, yes. (Industrial Valley is due south of downtown, old and functioning factories, very few residents.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
My point being, is that maybe/hopefully Wolstein will try to avoid/steer them away from fortress/campus. And get it more integrated. Hell, BP is a giant vertical office park, public square is one, playhouse square, etc.

Nope, I rarely do.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
we were talking about the business view from Eaton's perspective, but what about Wolstein's business prospective? I know Eaton carries a lot of weight, but Wolstein will stand to benefit if the "campus" is properly connected and integrated with his neighborhood (spin-off, residential, etc.)

Columbus Blue Jackets Discussion
Shaq, Manning … and these five NHL teams By Damien Cox ESPN Columbus Blue Jackets (73 points in 2006-07; on pace for 85 this season) Why we're surprised: When a team is such a well-established loser that it holds the dubious distinction of being the only NHL club never to have qualified for postseason play, you expect that losing culture to continue. Even worse, the team's best young players, Rick Nash and Nikolai Zherdev, seemed to be going sideways last season, which was a main reason why president/GM Doug MacLean lost his job. Finally, the vets the team did have, notably Sergei Fedorov and Adam Foote, appeared to be doing a deep fade as their careers came to an end. Why we shouldn't have been surprised: Slashing goals-against is still the quickest way to improve in the NHL, and the Jackets have gone from 26th to 16th to seventh this season in terms of keeping the puck out of their net. This was a project right up coach Ken Hitchcock's alley. • SURPRISE RATING: Four out of five.

Why does it seem that most people hate Cleveland?
With good reason.. Jersey is the worst ever.. Kids, I told you to stop blowing out other's candles. If you want to discuss perceptions of the Metro, great. If you want to criticize others, this thread will go away.

Hey, I need a mechanic for light work on my domestic rust bucket. Anyone have any recommendations? Also if "your guy" is near public transportation so I can make it back to work and not.

Ahh, ahh, ahhhhh. You're playing with statics. You're only using basketball statistics. You have to use the full year of events. The Gund [the Q] brought in quite a few more people than the out in the middle of nowhere Colosseum. If you going to criticize someone else's statistics, you'd better bring your own to the table.
