I think they might want to plug their price point a little louder. Looking at their menu, they look to be on par with Metropolitan but for the longest time, that space was always higher-end dining. I imagine people may still think it's as pricey as Johnnys Bistro so they may only consider it for "special occasions". I had completely written off that place assuming it was an "occasion/stuffed shirt" dinner place.

uh guys, Oil and Natural Gas only accounts for about 5% of their GDP (which yes, is still huge, but it isn't like >50%) For the UAE as a whole, its closer to 30% (CIA Factbook)

I don't know if you have the ability to answer it, but historically how many people have died on NYE as a result of alcohol related motor vehicle fatalities? I'm not trying to downplay your individual concern, but if there isn't a "huge" problem then why are we trying to come up with a solution.

RTA still has a bottom line ($$$) just like any other business. Encourage your local representatives to enhance financing for local transit authorities.

I couldn't find a better thread. it does speak to safety at the end of the article. Does anyone know if this type of construction is feasible in Ohio? -------------------------------------- Black ice, snow no match for heated bridge Gary Rennie The Windsor Star Sunday, January 20, 2008 ESSEX -- Ontario's first geothermal heated bridge is exceeding expectations for driving safety mid-way through its first winter, says county engineer Tom Bateman. "Everything's looking good," he says. "It's working."

The old Euc used to use Old glass quart OJ containers as their pitchers. If you ask anyone about their memories of the Euc, nearly everyone's involves the OJ pitchers. They aren't bringing them back, so I'm a very angry man. You should have seen me with my friends, there, over the course of two beers I got more and more angry, and by the end I was ready to break something. Which reminds me, I gave my card to the bartender saying I wanted to start a tab. He gave the card back to me (thought maybe it was a pre-load tab). When i asked to cash out, the "dude" bartender was like, we don't have a tab for me. They started a tab under my first name (who does that?) and just handed me back my credit card without entering it into the system. I could have walked out without paying a dime, and they would have been busy looking for a "James". MayDay I'll take Sir any day over dude, bro, guy, pal, buddy, etc. etc.

The problem begins with assuming the name "The Euclid Tavern" -No Orange Juice Containers for Pitchers (asked the bartender, said "normal pitchers are on their way") -Light Green Walls? -Plasma TVs? -The new stage I guess is okay -Hearing songs such as Creed, Brand New Day and whatever douchebag rock band on the jukebox. You would have never heard those, and especially at such a high crappy volume. -One of bartenders repeatedly calling me "dude". -Far too bright -Clientèle was waaaay off Take all of that into account, If you would have called the place "Joes Bar and Bistro" I'd be fine with it. But assume "The Euc" Name and I find it pretentious. Trying to Compare the two Eucs to the two Grog Shops aren't even close if you ask me. The two Euc's are clearly night and day and uncomparable. Really the only similarities are the back bar and the ceiling. (Which you can see clearly now because its so bright in there)

ctownfinest330, You only need to take 36 one way trips for the Monthly Pass to break even. Sounds like you are "frequent" enough. Go buy that and quit looking for handouts. And again, encourage your employer to coordinate pretax transportation benefits. 63 bucks pretax is cheaper than 63 post tax.- Cleveland: Flats East Bank
^ouch, my syntax.- Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info
without even stepping foot in there I have to say: If you're going to assume the Euc name, don't even think about maritinis and wine and what not. Those are some pretty big shoes to be assuming. it would about the equivalent of me calling my apartment the playboy mansion.- Cleveland: Restaurant News & Info

1) especially now that its 1.75 each - that 25 cents really broke the bank, huh? 2) the 5-ride card is a frequent rider discount designed for people like you. What do you want, to pay 50 cents to ride 6 times a month? 3) Does your employer offer pre-tax transportation benefits? Companies like Wageworks will mail you whatever combination of RTA passes you want monthly on a pre-tax basis, instant savings to pad that 25 cents you're having a hard time coming up with. 4) frequent rider passes/discounts. For someone like me who doesnt use it everyday of the month or week - So I ask, if you don't use it everyday of the month or week, how does that make you frequent?- Cleveland: Bob Stark Warehouse District Project
