I can see adding 100 spaces in the the current garage for the resident and ½ the total number of rooms for the proposed hotel, MAX. You're living, working, shopping and dining downtown, why the hell do you need a f8ckin' car? NE Ohioians are always screaming we're not like X city. How can we when we plan and accept ridiculous substandard not well thoughtout bullshit! Silly shit like this is going to increase my caffeine intake and I've been doing so well. yes I know its only for visuals, but it burns me up! Just because we want cleveland to be less car dependent and more transit friendly, doesn't mean we can just not build a parking garage and magically everyone's on RTA. Also, MTS, you ain't no property developer. What you think a hotel/condo requires is probably far different from what the market/developers is dictating. Also, watch you language.

what you guys are talking of is essentially what you might see over many parts of Ontario (smoking ban led this). I'm trying to think of a good example in Cleveland. I don't know about now considering that temps have dropped to sub-freezing, but swing by Brenan's Colony on Lee Road, they have a fairly robust patio which was open well through November.

And while we're on it, how is "10th Floor Interactive" on the second floor of a building that doesn't even have 10 floors?

The Willoughby company bid $35,005,000 for the property, $5,000 more than the minimum bid set by Cuyahoga County. The county bought the property for $22 million in 2005, intending to turn it into government offices. K&D proposes turning it into a mixed-use facility. K&D said it would keep the Ameritrust Tower and the historic rotunda intact. The lower floors of that building would become a boutique hotel with 160 to 170 rooms. The upper floors would hold about 200 residential units. K&D said it hopes to line up a tenant for office space in the building during the next year. The company also plans to build a new Class A office building on the site. The entire complex will become the centerpiece of the Euclid corridor, K&D said.

Me too, it really shows the context of Campus Martius and how it can (and already is) the focal point of downtown.
