and a high profile law firm might want a more prestigious space higher than the 5th floor overlooking the atrium (i'm just guessing here)

^yeah, but how many stops does the #7 (or any of the other "X" routes) have downtown?

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
my understanding is that BP still leased a portion of space in the building. However, since BP isn't here anymore those floors are empty. BP and Harbor Mgmt worked out a deal so 1) BP gets out of the lease today for 85 cents on the dollar for the remaining time on the lease 2) Harbor Mgmt can begin marketing that space I'm not sure if Harbor Mgmt has been given permission or has been marketing the BP space as a sub leasing agent or anything like that.

and finally I know why those lower floors are so empty, had no idea BP was still paying for them....

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Jmasek, That's essentially what Edmonton Does with their LRT, if a bus is running anywhere in the NE section of the city, your bus will be going through a LRT stop, and not continuing downtown. For a metro their size, they have a pretty impressive ridership. Adding on, I never understood why the 7X runs downtown in the morning (limited), but does stop at the University Circle Rapid Station. I did some tests when I used to live in coventry, and there was no time difference (give or take 1 min) between taking the 7X all the way downtown OR getting off at University Circle, waiting for a Train and getting out downtown.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
If there's one thing I've learned while traveling across the land, the browns have one of the best national fanbases around. The amount and volume of browns backer chapters across the world is truly impressive. Maybe the steelers have one, but the browns literally have a website dedicated to the local chapters so you can find one anywhere in the world.

Cincinnati's health care plan: 'CincyCare'
yeah, the anecdotal evidence (life expectancy, infant mortality, etc) sure doesn't make our system look world class. (especially considering how much other countries spend on healthcare. 20% of GDP? Here we come by 2015!

Clevelanders, I need your input
no, the four car garage isn't visible from the road.

What's your style? / How do you dress?
I always have a pain finding dress shirts that fit me well. (w/o wanting to spend $ for the good custom tailored or anything special). But trying to find a 14 1/2 neck in any department store always seems a bit painful......

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Oh dear god, I was so frustrated by that when I was in chicago. Especially it was the weekend and the red line was up in the loop, so from the loop on northward to say anywhere was 1mph the entire time.

isn't it ironic that the magna carta is right next to the ten commandments in a state capitol? My pot shot: Apparently the agree with the separation of church and state as long as that church is the christian

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
from my perspective looking at the whole exhibit, his numbers over his career aren't worth Jason Bay type caliber player. Also he's 29, he should be in his prime. I'd hold onto him, give him one more year and he's relatively cheap (but expensive to keep in the minors).

Cleveland: Downtown: The Avenue District
what happens if a crane drops a por-o-jon while moving it between floors?
-
Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Yeah because the trade value for lee and marte are truly worth what jason bay does and is capable of (especially in a current lineup with literally zero protection) So essentially you're suggesting that Huntington will "cheer" for his former team the tribe by trading away one of the better Outfields for two srubs?

Petersburg, KY: Creation Museum: Development and News
Gosh, its like the author of the article intentionally ended the article with that sentence just to truly stress how insane the thought is. (and subsequently the whole museum)

Peak Oil
gosh, how many years did they know about the Tarsands for? (before actually trying to get oil out of it). Also I'm not a geologist but i hear that the tarsands is an environmental disaster. Lets say the oil is 25% of the sand. You remove 25% of an acre, return the sand, i'm not a mathematician, but you can't return nature back to normal.
