exactly, the first thing anyone is going to notice about zocalo is its wide open appearance (even in the winter time), not the font on their sign. "Oh honey, let's not eat there, it looks like a fourth grader designed their sign"

oh, while i wasn't impressed, I'm certainly going to give them a "pass" for being new (new staff, new menus, new cooks, new issues that no one can plan for in the first weeks). I'll try them again when it isn't the full and the lunch rush.

i was eating today at zocalo. Atmosphere good (nice and busy) Service: bad Wait time on food: bad Food Quality: below average (for the love of god please drain some of the water from the pork in my enchilada, the damn thing was swimming on my plate)

^ground level retail only happens in one place, the ground floor. You could have a 1776 ft skyscraper, and you're still only going to have one ground floor to create a street atmosphere.

Nothing like the tomato capital of canada for a desintation. but seriously, its an obnoxiously slow ferry. However the MV Jimaan does sell beer, but if you get stuck on the MV Pelee Islander you're out of luck. Total trip would be approximately 6 hours when you count up boarding, de boarding, customs, etc. There is a little cigarette boat that used to make the run between Leamington/Kingville to Sandusky (to go to cedar point), but I haven't seen that one in a while.
