To where will you be moving? Did you buy one of those penthouses in the Avenue District? Actually its what KJP's big news is about regarding pescht. I'm buying a 350k Sq ft condo. But seriously I'm moving next year to either a) tremont, b) ohio city or c) downtown; and plan to take better advantage of transportation options. Where is live in the heights, isn't bad, but it isn't great either.
  2. how about what she has done to help homeless people? (i for one have done nothing since a 5th grade soup kitchen trip)
  3. From the renderings I've seen, yes you can... are you seriously this dense?

i'd say somewhere in the 75-85% range. When I move next year, i hope to bump it up to 98% (to see mom and pop of course, unless the ohio hub gets built.

centralia's always been on my "to-do" list. Don't know why, its not like there's anything (much) left.

wow, get your pens out! (damn he was harsh and way off base for cleveland). Sorry I found this online comment to be particularily hilarious That is to say that the best/worst things you could come up with were: 1) a misnamed arena's parking lot 2) seagulls 3) liebskind?
  11. two old grey haired men? Well at least they weren't designed by volpe

You just have to find one that fits the image I have of you in my head (that is meant the least creepy way possible). You would be somewhere in between Maygar and CDM...but much taller. you mean like this? (courtesy of KJP's wit)

^does this mean I have to find a normal picture of me now?
  15. I like the rapid idea. We could bounce from one stop to the next each month (with a bar nearby!), I will not be drinking a 40 in the brook park station parking lot......(though there is some old ford/airport bars nearby)

  18. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure Congress' right to levy taxes is vested in the constitution.
  19. I'm a big plan of that idea. (but far too lazy to organize it)

^if i remember, he did, sometime back in the day post a picture......
  21. no cheap shot intended, but I'd have to think Cleveland's a damn sight better off than they are... just consider popular media, we get "Welcome to Collinwood" :-D, they get "Eight Mile" :shoot: And the PD just ran a big article on asphalt farming to reclaim communities in Cleveland, does that mean Cleveland is declining to pre-1900 Agrian society? This isn't a pissing match, nor is it tolerated to make cleveland's flame brighter by blowing out the flame of another.

^wonder what that impact upon tax revenue is? (i'm thinking more from a Cuyahoga specific scenario where the smokers fund the stadia and the arts) fine, let us smoke in our offices again.
  23. gotta love cheap shots at detroit.
  24. Suburban Detroit (Oakland County to be exact), wanted to add one lane in each direction to I-75 for about a 12 mile stretch. Total Estimated Price tag? Came in at about 1.5 Billion dollars. Its not apples to apples here, but the point is, trying to go back and and fix/widen/etc. highways where its not surrounded by farms is absurdly expensive and the costs greatly outweigh the benefits (i.e. you getting there 18 seconds quicker). It just seems like your only goal is to quickly move cars across the region at the expense of others. Quite literally at the expense of someone like MayDay (100% Car free) or Me (75% car free). Our taxes have to subsidize your 6 lane Route 8 through whatever suburb you're trying to go to. Gas taxes don't cover the cost of road construction and associated infrastructure, and not a single road in the region sure as hell ain't paying for itself.
  25. yes, and our section on Romania is quite empty, get to work on that guys.
