  4. yes, two more very original and top tier retailers.
  5. You have immediately lost all credibility when it comes to the discussion of "better stores" in Downtown cleveland. I'll let MyTwoCents yell at you for brooks brothers.

have you been to fenway in the last two years? they've dropped a considerable amount of coin in that place (but yes, it still is freakin old. All the leaded paint in the world ain't going to change that)

I'm too lazy to go back and find it, but I predicted back in I think August of '06 that we would be inundated with a million articles of boo-hooing (directed at Newspaper X, not Grasscat). I'm not saying I want an award, just that the only press coverage will be devoted to joe schmoe's bar and how he has lost so much money to the mysterious bars that allow smoking.
  13. now we just need a signature cable-stayed pedestrian bridge! (please note sarcasm)

most are not furnished. The arpartments are huge and its an 15 - 20 min max bus ride to euclid/105 st. The range you state is probably reasonable. I'm not a renter so I cannot be sure, maybe clvndr, eightshades or the pope can respond about rental ranges. unfurnished 600 sq ft in a good building=550 bucks a month

there's parts of Coventry failing? that's new to me.
  17. how did peter lewis come into the Euclid corridor thread?
  18. ^Agreed. I don't think anyone here was blaming RTA for past ills. As far as I can tell: We would just like to see RTA actively market and work with local authorities to ensure that all future development on the corridor (and subsequent pedestrian watershed) be of a dense, urban, built to the curb nature.
  19. Ohhhh yeah, the federal courthouse building built a few years really got people running through the streets. giggles!
  20. i was partial to the caption for the dinosaur.
  21. ^still a lot of my bottom line is 20 millions dollar difference in renovation versus building new.
  22. you mean you don't want Crown Centre V 3.0 downtown?
  23. you guys got a shout out from the weekly zine here in cleveland.... ------------------------- Chatter - Sucks Worse Than Genesis Science, Schmience: Take a Field Trip To the Creation Museum! Volume 15, Issue 1 Published May 9th, 2007 Jesus horses And on the eighth day, God created douchebags. Enough douchebags, apparently, to build a 10,000 square-foot Creation Museum next to the Cincinnati airport, just across the border into Kentucky. Mark your advent calendars and pack your bags. This assault on science, reason, and common sense opens May 28.
  24. ^tell that to those shops at church square, or health space or the cleveland clinic or...... Well as long as going forward they give the zoning some enforceability.... (yes I realize you are saying going forward it wouldn't be hard to enforce, not the current status quo)
