Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Someone asked that question on Bruce Drennan's show yesterday and he said there is no official word other than Z is day to day. Hope it's soon rather than later, the Cavs really missed his mid range shot in Atl.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
CC is a great guy, great teammate, and he's a gamer. Indians' fans know all to well though that CC didn't perform that well in the playoffs for us. Check out his career post season stats, not exactly sparkling. Maybe he might turn that around in NY, but if he doesn't...uh-oh! So what's everyone think about picking up Wood (pending the physical)?

I read Boobie will be out for two weeks with a toe injury. It's nice they have depth in the guards this year so it won't hurt too much. He has been putting up like 10 ppg though coming off the bench.

South Euclid, Ohio: a low-profile mid-century suburb on the edge
What's happening (or happened) to this? I know the city is doing prep work to demo the existing buildings, but don't no much else beyond that. Also see...http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,3262.120.html

Yeah...I was on the team track team from '97 to '00. Being that we were both in the LEL we had dual meets just about every year. Heights was always our biggest rivals and the meets were intense. Mentor would clean up on most of the field and distance events while Heights would dominate the 100 up to the 800. Now competing as a team in track at the state level was a whole different ball game. It had more to do with individuals than team. With the exception of my senior year, we never competed that well at the state level because we didn't have that many outstanding individuals.

I ran cross country and track for Mentor for all four years of high school. I think we beat the Heights teams a few times  Went on to do cross country and track just for my freshman year at the University of Akron as well! JDD941, when did you do track for Akron and what events did you do?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Wow...touchy touchy! I did some searching and found those. I didn't see it on their website at first pass and was just asking because someone had asked me a couple of months ago. Edit: BTW...thank you for posting the links!

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Out of curiosity, how do you find a Brown's Backer club? I would imagine they have websites? A friend of mine moved out to Colorado and was wondering if he could meet some people and watch the Browns at the same time. (not that it would be a very enjoyable experience the rest of the year :-P)

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Ahh man...a trip down memory lane with all the indoor soccer talk. I wonder if the soccer ball I have signed by all the Force members from sometime in the 80's is worth anything?

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
Yep! Man, I just looked at their schedule through the rest of the year and it looks soft. I don't think we are really going to find out what this team is all about untill Jan. or Feb. when they have some really tough games.

Cleveland Cavs Discussion
^^I agreed on most points, especially that if he wants to be a WORLD icon, is there much difference for him being in Cleveland than NYC? I do disagree that his public image would take a "hugh hit" for bolting to NYC. The only place it's going to hurt his public image is here in Cleveland. If he went to NYC (the largest market in the US) they would love him for it and the rest of the country and world would be fairly indifferent. Here's a take on why Clevelander's should find a silver lining in all of this. WE have Lebron and everyone else wants him. He grew up in the area and is arguable the best player in the NBA while playing for CLEVELAND. The team he is playing with THIS year is a d@mn good team and one of the elite teams in the NBA. Enjoy it people! I know I enjoyed the beat down they put on NYC last night.
