  3. How big of a stadium do you think they have in mind? one foromer says 5k another says 10k and BelievelandD1 says 20K. Personally i don't think they would get a NWSL franchise on a 5-10K stadium. ( their is too much competition ) for this NWSL franchise. Now if they were trying to get a USL Championship franchise then 5-10 would work Anyway, if this is 20k could this be enough to get MLS down the road.
  4. When is this project expected to finish
  5. So you are referring to the land on the other side of the freeway just north off the post office. The same land that was option 2 for the browns stadium

  15. Canyon - Hmmm - all these tall structures around it.
  16. KJP - I apologize if this is a dumb question - but will the practice court/performance center have any type of access or even visibility from Ontario/Carnegie Ave. With the eagle ave bridge being demoed - it looks like canal rd is the only access. Why i am asking is that with everything down below at the riverfront level - the average out-of-towner or even suburbinite won't even know that this exists down below at that level when driving on Ontario or Carnegie. Will this have any street visibility from that intersection.

  23. Can someone please explain to me just how you capture revenue by funding a development and how it can be done year. The Haslams are capturing revenue from up to 270,000 square feet of commercial and office space along with new luxury and affordable housing to help finance the stadium. A similar approach is desired by the city of Cleveland — funding development around Cleveland Browns Stadium and capturing revenues from that development for stadium renovations. In Columbus, private funding of Lower.com Field amounted to $217.5 million with another $20 million from the state, $25 million from a state-funded loan and $51.3 million in bonds paid for by Franklin County. The city of Columbus’ share amounted to $63 million for developing the mixed-use Astor Park development and pledged another $50 million to turn the Crew’s previous stadium site into the team’s training center and a community sports park.
