  1. I remember reading a post a few years ago somewhere most likely a FEB thread showing a map of the flats and naming all of the peninsulas. Is this the Columbus peninsula. That post could be in the stone levee thread.
  2. If there is another project then that is GREAT news. When will this be announced so everybody knows.
  3. Is the Unidentified Apt & Office Tower ( 7 & 8 ) - the big one?
  4. There is no room on Euclid for the BIG ONE
  5. Let's See - JHB - Underway 925 Centennial - Planning Stage ( Needs to get started ) Possible - Cowell & Hubbard - Vacant lot by the Statler What Else could it be
  6. Is More Fireworks in reference to City Club Apts Or is there something else lurking in the beginning stages?
  7. out of that number - what % do you think will re-locate to Cleveland
  8. KJP - How many jobs are you expecting to be consolidated from Minneapolis & other parts of the country. I wonder if these transplants would be moving into Downtown apartments & condos or suburban housing.
  9. KJP - I am a little concerned with how they are are going to fill the weston Superblock. With the R & D Building out of the equation going to Scranton Peninsula and the 30 story tower going to PS, what are they going to fill the weston superblock with - a handful of 15-20 story office towers and a bunch of parking garages. Weston Superblock is probably 4 times as large as PS.
  10. I wonder what will happen to the Old Stark Headquarters. The article says there is no info on it.
  11. Very Good news. Does anyone know what currently is on the 9 acre Scranton land that the R &D center will go on? From the pictures it appears to be some small buildings.
  12. The more I think about it the more sense this makes.
  13. Floating Tiki Barge. https://www.news5cleveland.com/entertainment/all-aboard-floating-tropical-tiki-barge-coming-to-cleveland-in-june-2020
  14. Go to apartments.com or forrent.com and they show different numbers. As per Apartments.com The Standard has 23 available and another 11 coming online within 2 months. Whereas FEB has 19 available with 6 coming coming online in 2 months. I don't know why there would be such a discrepancy of data.
  15. I think the Lumen is a most attractive building and will have no problem filling up just as the beacon is filling up per apartment.com. However I think there will be a lot of lateral movement - because at the time the Beacon has come online the vacancy rate for other apartment buildings downtown has substantially increased. ( Standard, FEB, Creswell, Statler & others). Now, I realize that some renters buy homes when their lease is up, but i think their is a lot of lateral movement to brand new buildings. The Standard & FEB vacancy rate is increasing by the month.
  16. New Year New Downtown. https://www.wkyc.com/article/money/economy/new-year-new-downtown-cleveland/95-a67f56a7-cc49-4f1a-8771-db48d19d9c71 Does anyone know if Ohio City W.25 St counts in the downtown numbers or not. Probably not - but where does downtown end - West Bank ?
  17. So does the additional time needed mean they are leaning from PS/Weston Superblock to the Bedrock site?
  18. Looking forward to seeing E.12 side being built. Hoping it sells fast so then st. clair side can be built plus the Geis Sphaghetti House site for sale condo's get off the ground.
  19. I am hoping to hear some news in January 2020. Hopefully early January.
  20. Wow. Metro South to break ground before Metro North.
  21. Can I be greedy - I want the e.13/chester and Cowell & Hubbard. I do realize that Cowell & hubbard has some air rights that make it more lucrative to do nothing than to develop.
  22. I love your Wish List. It is basically the same as my list. But then reality sets in. This is Cleveland. I am 65 years old I have been following Downtown Cleveland developments since i was 22 years. There have been substantially more lows and disappointments than highs. It is always something in cleveland. Can't get enough financing, construction costs are too high , the economy turn south, last minute mergers etc. etc. etc. Everytime the economy turns south it hurts us more than most cities and it always takes us longer to recover longer than most cities. I think the only project that i feel positive about is SHW. I think the economy is ready for a downturn especially if we elect a democrat in the next election. We need Shovels in the ground on these projects or they will never get off the ground.
  23. Hopefully Benesch gets an extension and the TMUD tax credit passes and the original nucleus gets built.
