  2. ^ 100% agree. When we go to the WSM on Saturdays, we board at W117th and get off at W25th, with my gf buying the $5 pass...however in maybe a dozen trips we've never been stopped. Which makes you seriously question why bother paying the $5. However, in my daily commute from w117 to TowerCity, I am routinely stopped and asked at the 117th platform, once causing me to miss a train. There needs to be a uniform approach taken and a better system enforced. Also, to dovetail on the previous comment, every morning there are 5-6 RTA transit security officers standing at the TC turnstiles greeting commuters. Isn't this overkill? or at least a gross misallocation of scarce resources? Couldn't some of these individuals be better put to use manning a turnstile system?

  14. hopefully! those were awful! hopefully they also de-smoke the glass as well. So ridiculous that they likely pay a premium for that first floor space and then immediately take away the best asset of it

  16. Quick question here: I am in the midst of remodeling a 10' x 10' room in my house that was built back in the 20s. The first step with doing this was removing the wallpaper and subsequent underlying layers, which I couldn't tell were paint or another layer of wallpaper fused together over time. Without thinking much of it at first, I started scraping off these lower layers onto the drop cloth below on the floor. I did this for all of the walls in the entire room, with these scrapings sitting on the floor for a period of a couple weeks. Now, after someone mentioned something, I am worried about the possibility of lead paint exposure. Assuming that this was lead paint, I will test it for sure, did I unknowingly subject myself to a poisoning by what I did? If so, can just breathing in the dust particles cause any serious damage or am I over reacting?
  17. Out of curiosity - what is the monthly rent range?

  21. Tudor Arms renovation is bringing a highly visible piece of old Cleveland back to life Published: Friday, August 20, 2010, 5:30 PM Updated: Friday, August 20, 2010, 10:40 PM Steven Litt, The Plain Dealer Steven Litt, The Plain Dealer Like tens of thousands of East Side commuters, I've driven past the looming mass of the 11-story Tudor Arms building for years without any idea of the grandeur of its interior spaces. Located on the southwest corner of Carnegie Avenue and East 107th Street, the building is a highly visible landmark that stands sentinel over a major traffic gateway to the city. http://blog.cleveland.com/architecture/2010/08/tudor_arms_renovation_is_bring.html
