Cincinnati Bengals Discussion
It's obviously a much harder decision than we all must think. The Bengals are a horribly run NFL franchise but can't be entirely stupid. The fact is it would be a much easier decision if the injury was worse. I believe the problem comes down to this: --The ligament is still 80% in tact. Therefore they believe the ligament can heal fully without surgery by just resting his elbow. --If they decided to have surgery, then they would have to completely sever the ligament 100% so they could repair it properly. I quess they just don't want to cut the ligament 100% if there were other options. It might not matter anyway. If the Bengals don't do something about there Offensive Line, there's no point in putting him back out on the field to get killed again. What would be next, a broken neck?

Who Will Ohio Vote for in the 2012 GOP Presidential Race?
I will go a step farther and say that there probably will not be a next election because we will be involved in another World War and getting nuked around that time. :shoot:

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
As for the hotel....(just putting my two cents in) I'd like to see them go all out to get a top notch chain.(wouldn't we all). The THOMPSON HOTEL CHAIN is one of the first that I thought of. There not in every city, therefore in a way setting Cincinnati apart from other cities. A design similar to two of there hotels (The Donovan House in Washington D.C. & The Smyth Tribeca in NYC)would fit in with the last design for 'The Banks'. The interior of these hotels are also a very nice modern/ contemporary style. Here's a link to Thompson Hotels: http://www.thompsonhotels.com/

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Ummm.....so much for being unique or one of a kind. Ummm.....Union Center......Kenwood Towne Center Renovation......on... and.....on...and..on. I quess I'm still in love with the original renderings from way back. At least there building the damn thing finally. And there will at least be a state of the art park system that will divert our attention from the blandness of the buildings.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fort Washington Way Cap
Well, all you guys will be relieved to know that I have just purchased development rights the Eastern Cap. Here is what I plan on doing with it----- It will consist of a Prefab double-wide trailer with aluminum shed and Prefab barn shaped one car garage (my other cars, working or not, will be parked in the yard). The yard will be Astroturf (not the new stuff, the old stuff) with flowers made of the finest fabrics. It will be a lively place with me and all my rowdy friends drinking beer and playing cornhole with our shirts off and slapping our beer guts every 30 seconds and showing our buttcracks every time we pick up the bags. Feel free to stop by and say hello or take a leak on my fake bushes. You can call it a park or an exibit, but I figure it won't be too tall or too short. It will have green space and entertainment and should flow seamlessly from downtown to the Banks.

I'm lost. Someone please help me. I thought that all the foundations surrounding the HOLE were recently built and are now supporting roadways. What exactly are they demolishing?

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fort Washington Way Cap
How about a replica of Fort Washington?.......... I'm just kidding, but the more I think of it, the more I wish the original Fort was still standing. I'm a big history buff so it sounds cool to me. Anyway, I think Fort Washington was closer to where Queen City Square is.

Cloverfield: 1-18-08
Just saw it. 4 out of 5 stars from me. Totally original monster and plot. I liked it. The people in the theater that were disappointed with it didn't seem to realize the whole movie was supposed to be what was found on handheld camera. They didn't like the ending, but if you pay attention to the very very beginning, then you can pretty much guess how the movie would end. BTW, if you didn't see the movie yet....pay close attention to the very last flashback at the end. Watch the sky and ocean close to the boat on the right of the screen. It gives some insight as to where the monster came from. I didn't see it, but my wife did and I was kinda pissed that I missed it. It was nothing big but still......

University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
Go back to your hole. :-D Actually, the BIG EAST is ranked #2 in the sagarin ratings. So NO, the "everybody beating everybody else" phenomenon does NOT prove that it is a terrible conference. I guess you would prefer a conference in which 1 or 2 teams win and all the other team loses, right?

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
It still looks like they don't plan on adding a front to 2nd St. on Block 4. I'm not sure that would look right. Hopefully they change their mind. If your going to be looking at a garage or surface lot from 2nd St., they better at least make it look nice.

Man, I don't know if I would make Olympic swimmers swin in the river. You might get out of the water with a three-headed fish in your shorts. Or you might start growing a third arm out of your forehead or something. :-o

I think they should put a crane at the site just to make it look their doing something.
