    Tell that to your comrade.

For some perspective, maybe we should mention that Boehner has a whopping 15% approval rating. Higher than Pelosi, but less than one-third that of 'The One'

Google works Dan - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22357873/ http://hubpages.com/hub/WhattheHealthCareBillMeansForPeopleWithPre-ExistingConditions (see the cute little baby at the end) And then there are the children of these religious nutjobs which is not really relevant to the health care bill, but responsive to your question- http://www.thefreelibrary.com/DA:+Pa.+couple+prayed,+denied+care+to+dying+tot-a01612019962
  4. Does anyone suspect that the property will actually be more valuable as a vacant lot, than with the church that would require a lot of red tape and $$ to tear down?
  5. If finances are not a concern, the more education the better is what I say.
  6. Why does Pittsburgh get to remain the capital of the West Virginia region, but Cincy would be separated from Kintucky.

Eh... not exactly true in today's economy - Ariza and Artest both signed for the MLE last offseason. This offseason, the market is going to be so oversaturated that there will be some very talented players that will have little choice but to sign the MLE.

Do you not have an answer to my question? Name me one piece of significant legislation that was more open to scrutiny than this health care bill. On the "backroom deals".... why are your GOP reps trying to block the "Fix-It" Bill, which removes those deals, if they are such a bad thing?

It's "Bird Rights" I think... after Larry Bird. And I don't believe we will have his Bird Rights because it is only a 1 yr deal. We will have the MLE though and that should be right in the range of his pay grade as a mid-30's backup center. We will have Bird Rights on LBJ and Shaq. Bosh is out of the question. We don't have the money to offer any big-time FA unless we give up our Bird Rights to LBJ. As long as we retain those, his previous salary locks up our cap space.

It's official. Z signs a 1 yr deal to return to the only team he has ever played for. Welcome back big guy.
  11. I am always amazed at the crowds outside the Beachland, especially considering its location and all.

Can anyone name a single piece of legislation that more closely scrutinized and vetted than this health care reform bill?
  13. My wife made the mistake of trying to take my son to the parade last year and rode the rapid down. She said that one guy barfed on the way down and another urinated in the car on the way back home. Wish she would have talked to me first.
  14. Both schools have excellent Law Reviews. My point was that Cleveland-Marshall's Moot Court team can hold its own with the best of the best... way above its national ranking as a law school. In most every other school, Law Review would be more prestigious.
  15. ^^ Law Review is bigger deal at Case. Moot Court is Cleveland-Marshall's claim to fame.

^Boehner's "hell no" speech... yes, very 'civil'

I can agree that a girl who is a size 14 should not try to squeeze into a size 6. We see that far too often these days. I don't agree that body size should determine what 'type' of clothes a girl should wear. I know plenty of size 10's that look a lot better in Daisy Dukes than size 2 girls. JMO. On the flip side, do you think that there are any clothes that the larger women can wear that a smaller woman can not? That is, I guess, where I see the problem with this line of thought.

Boehner has plenty of talking points. That is what he is best at.

  20. Agreed with the above that if you want to practice out of the area, the cost of CWRU may be worth it. If you are going to stay in Cleveland, it most likely is not. On the other hand, exactly where you went to law school matters less and less to potential employers the more experience you accumulate. With the joint degree you may be attractive to City law departments, or perhaps the County Prosecutor's civil division, or firms with a specialty in municipal law. Just speculation.

  22. I'm diggin' that mural in the WHD. Also, while Minny might overdo it a bit (a la Dallas), Cleveland's skyline would do well with some more glass like we see here.
  23. For those that know my general viewpoints, you know that I am not a big fan of trickle down economics on the national level. However, I see the argument for Cleveland and its possible utility in local governance.
