The Memphis pick doesn't revert to a second rounder. It's unlikely to convey until 2017-18, when it's top 5 protected, or 2019, when it's unprotected. Given the ages of Randolph and Gasol, it could very easily be a lottery pick. http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed Right you are. For some reason, I had it locked in my head that the pick would become a second round pick if it did not fit within that protection. But it is the Thunder's pick which becomes a second rounder if not conveyed within the timeframe contemplated.
  2. Time for another one of those models I used to stare at endlessly at Tower City when the mall first opened.

Keep in mind that those two first round picks are protected picks. The Memphis pick would've been worth something if they had went in the tank, but there is no sign of that in the coming years, so it will most likely revert to a second round pick. The OKC pick can be no higher than 15..... and will likely be in the mid to late 20's. It wasn't that steep of a price for a starting center in today's NBA.

  5. If posting videos of 14 year old girls fighting is his thing, this guy would've loved having a feed into the security cams at my high school back in the day.
  6. I have about 10 suits which don't fit anymore and are out of the realm of getting tailored to fit. I usually donate clothes, but we are talking thousands of dollars of merchandise here. Any ideas on how/where to sell...... other than eBay? I know I will get shafted but am looking for something more than a tax write off

  8. Critique: I don't like the design because (insert anything other than the height) Response: Why do you hate tall buildings so much?!?!
  9. That's because the quality of our DB depth has not been all that great. ^^Decent might have been a little bit of an understatement. Point was that our DBs have typically turned into better pros. Chris Carter is also dipping pretty far back in the archives. Amongst Galloway, Glenn, Holmes, and Boston you have two pro-bowl appearances collectively. Compare that to 7 for Winfield, Whitner, Springs, and Clements.
  10. I think Troy Smith was a decent NFL prospect..... at least on par with Germaine. We certainly haven't had a Top 10 pick QB in forever. OSU has produced some decent WRs. The above list doesn't include Hartline and Philly Brown, two of the more recent successes in the pros. The strength of the program, for as long as I've been watching it, has been the DBs. Winfield, Whitner, Springs, Jenkins, Clements, Doss, Allen, Plummer, Gamble, Harper, Fox, Nickey, Moore, Ross, Salley, Kelly, Youboty, Several pro bowlers in there. Some who didn't live up to expectations, but all were considered solid to excellent pro prospects.

Miller is playing under a guaranteed contract. He won't be released. Farmar is just as bad at defense as Delly is on offense. Last thing this team needs is to lose defense for better offense. I think Love needs to take a few weeks (or longer) off. His back has been bothering him for two long and it seems to be getting worse.
  12. The move to the suburban health care was happening waaaaaaaay before the ACA
  13. Hmmmm...... I can't help but think that Cardale has some insight into Braxton's plans (either to switch positions or transfer schools). ^Johnny has to win the starting job first. ^^^I hope not. He was really emerging and might be able to rise to one of the top WR prospects in the entire draft if he stays. That said, I believe he has some issues in his past and would run the risk of hurting his draft stock by staying in school and running the risk of a suspension for some knuckleheaded issues. I read something the other day which I hate to admit is a good argument that Zeke Elliot should seriously consider shutting it down until he is draft eligible. These days there is only so much tread on a RB's tires, with an avg NFL career span of less than 2 1/2 years. Anyone remember Marcus Lattimore? I don't see Zeke doing that and it was just some writer's random thoughts, but I would be hard pressed to advise him otherwise, especially knowing that Meyer is going to ride that guy all the way to another playoff appearance.
  14. Idk. I get the argument for leaving now given the risk that he either (a) gets injured or (b) stays healthy yet never starts another game at OSU. On the other hand, he clearly is not ready for the NFL and would be considered a long term investment at best. 3 years down the road, and the kid might've only started 3 games at any level. That would have to cause some rust. What's intriguing is that he might have the most upside as a legit NFL prospect at the QB position out of OSU's 'big three' given his size and arm strength. Another year or two under his belt and he might be a top 10 pick. All that said, I think he has already secured some level of financial security. He will now and hereinafter be considered a God in Columbus and could make a living for a decent while simply promoting local car dealerships.
  15. ^The rules have been tightened on that front. You need 'cause' to enter the supplemental draft. Cardale has a chance to declare today. If he delays for the purpose of entering the supplemental draft, I doubt the NFL will allow him to do so.
  16. No one knows about Santorini? I looked online and it is not clear.
  17. I agree. I like the hotel. And it has some historical value..... perhaps a bit overstated in "Almost Famous", but value nonetheless.
  18. They couldn't put the guy in first class? Really?

    I'm officially concerned.
  20. So is Santorini open yet? Has anyone been?
  21. ^Jobs and $$$ It doesn't have the same type of governance. Texas is a world away from Ohio in terms of the brand of conservative politics. And the number 1 reason why Texas is booming is natural resources and the low tax rates those natural resources allow the state to use to poach companies from other states. That leads to jobs. Jobs leads to people.
  22. Maybe this is a better reference point for the millennials who don't recognize the actor.... Where is MTS when you need him. I feel old.
