The Cavs have reportedly purchased the 3D projector used for Big Z's retirement event last year. Awesome. Breaking new ground in game presentation.
  2. Parking garage?

^There are some rumblings out there that the modification of the policy will only apply retroactively to drug tests failed during the 2014 season. In that scenario, Welker's suspension is lifted, but not Gordon's
  4. Did they coordinate their outfits? It must be jeans and sport coat day. For whatever reason, my wife won't let me rock that look.
  5. Wow.... a 'Godzilla' sighting in downtown Cleveland.
  6. Wow. I had no idea lafont was that old. He's right up there with MTS!
  7. ^There must be some kind of teleportation device stashed on Public Square. I'm still trying to figure out how Loki chased that entire crowd out of doors of the Old County Courthouse right onto Public Square.
  8. ^They look to be more decorative features than actual walk out balconies.
  9. Not really, just the fact that tOSU fans can't understand that their are actually residents in the State that are NOT Buckeye fans There are residents of Cleveland who are not Browns fans. We give them SH!t too
  10. Jeez Cincy. Such hate for everything Ohio. #Brohio
  11. ^I had totally forgot about that movie. What was it's title? And was it skateboarding or roller blading? It was soooooo late 80's / early 90's, with the surfer type dude from Cali moving to Ohio to teach us hicks in flyover country how to be cool.
  12. ^For that to happen, you have to get to a level of football prominence in which losing one game means your season is over. Most teams are nowhere near that level. Ahem Cincy.
  13. I don't think that is right. Rice's punishment came well after the charges. In fact, I think the plea deal was done and the sentence was handed down in the courts prior to Goodell imposing that 2 game suspension. Regardless, Goodell punished Rice based on a video of his unconscious fiancé and his admission that he knocked her out. Every situation is different. That doesn't mean a comparison can't be drawn. Killing someone is different than stealing their car, but if the courts' were handing down life sentences for stealing a car and only probation for murder, the discussion on those discrepancies is worthy of public discourse. If you disagree, you can always choose to not engage in that discussion.
  14. Pittsburgh. We have a....ummmmmm..... 'different' rookie QB
  15. ^That movie is very geographically dizzying..... as are most movies set in Cleveland to anybody who knows the City.
  16. ^That happened in the City, no?
  17. ^The collectively bargained punishments are actually a good guideline for the commissioner to use in such circumstances that do call for him to exercise his discretion. Regardless, the commissioner always has discretion whether or not to punish in the first place, and also he is free to consider any mitigation of the punishment down from the maximum allowable under the CBA. All the CBA does is place a 'cap' on the punishments for certain offenses of specified league policies. Without any agreed upon substance abuse policy, the substance abuse policy is whatever the league says it is..... just like subject of domestic violence is now.
  18. I'm still struggling with this question - what the H - E - double hockey sticks did they EXPECT to see on the video??
  19. Word is the Ratbirds have terminated Ray Rice's contract. I would applaud the move, but let's face it..... they didn't have any other choice.
  20. What's the deal with the lack of 'volume' at the Shoe? Despite its size, it is not known as that much of an intimidating place to play...... certainly not like Happy Valley or other notoriously loud stadiums. Is it the acoustics? A more tame fan base? The ESPN announcers even mentioned that the decibel levels were surprisingly low.

Not sure about Kitchen, but Winn played regularly throughout the game. I don't think Pittsburgh "slacked off". They started playing like they were up 24 points, which they were. They might have played more conservative, but so would just about every other team in that situation. Once we cut the lead to 10, the Steelers scrapped that plan, but couldn't get it going. With regard to the kick to Lanning's face, I think that is being waaaaaaay overblown. Punters are notorious for trying to cut out the legs of a returner. Brown was anticipating Lanning going lower and was clearly trying to hurdle Lanning. If his intent was to kick Lanning in the face, while the two were flying at each other full speed on a football field, that was some Bruce Lee type sh!t. It's, for sure, nothing like the Haynesworth incident 5 or so years ago in that there was no malicious intent. We'll see what the league says, but my guess is that nothing is done.

^Notice how much better the D played yesterday when the offense kept them off the field in the second half? Going 3-and-out is just as devastating to your defense as it is your offense.
  23. My brother-in-law is VaTech alum and a huge fan of their football team. I haven't heard from him yet. Not looking forward to the next family get-together. Outside of the Florida national title game, that might have been one of the worst played/executed OSU football games I have ever seen.

Jordan Cameron's shoulder is something to worry about. If it is an AC joint sprain, those can nag and nag, with continued aggravations, until the proper rest is had. But it might be something worse. I was once diagnosed with an AC joint sprain and was basically told to tough it out. That was in preseason camp. When it hadn't gotten any better by March, the doctors took a closer look and found a small fracture at the end of my collar bone. They said it was an injury more typically seen in hockey from players being slammed up against the glass. Since it had gone untreated for more than 6 months, an arthritic-like condition had formed and they had to saw off about two inches of the bone. Point being, if they need to shut Cameron down, they best do that, or him leaving the game early yesterday might become a routine.
  25. ^You got a 'like' for channeling Harry Doyle
