Downtown Canton
Downtown Canton These photos are from two trips that I made out to Canton. The second trip was a blessing. I got a personal tour from a friend from Miami. We got to see the entire city. I ended up showing my friends some new areas in the city (the areas where his suburban parents told him never to visit). Hope you enjoy! The beautiful county courthouse.. This was really difficult to capture.. Canton is working to convert this old hotel to senior condos.. Opps.. Cool you can picnic in downtown! Canton did a nice job with their parking garages.. A new cafe shop downtown.. The Downtown Catholic Church.. Sadly this is the spot where McKinley's House used to be. Now its a modernist monstrasity library Old Canton McKinley High school.. Simple message from the free Masons.. Central Plaza... This is one of the highlights of downtown Canton. Its good to see some redevelopment events going on.. The Millennium Center is one of the new buildings built on the plaza.. Canton Alleyways... I've really been impressed with Canton's efforts in redeveloping their alleyways. Cool Murals.. The Joy Festival. This was a downtown festival all about spreading "Joy".. These guys were great! Best dancers of the whole festival..
