Defintively agree! Apparently there were also 4 theaters at Euclid and East 105th and all were demolished. One of them I believe was a 3,000 plus seater.

How did Columbus get in here! Did you get to the residential neighborhoods in Richmond? I wonder how they, particularly if the topology is heavily Georgian influenced.

Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala
Quetzaltenango Guatemala's second largest city nestled in Guatemala' highlands. The city probably has no more than 200,000 inhabitants but I found it to be a very charming urban environment; especially in the City's core (Zone 1). This is a city Jane Jacobs could fall in love with, with its high density (not tall but no lawn space can be found), integrate mix of uses, high walkability (if you discount the fact that the sidewalks are not always in the best shape), and a very active central park . In zone 1 the city has set strict preservationist codes to insure the historic buildings and fabric of the oldest part of the city stay in-tact. Antigua Guatemala
Antigua On a wonderful trip last year I went to Guatemala for three weeks. Antigua is definitively one of Guatemala's best. It is a tourism town located about an hour from Guatemala City wedged between a number of volcanoes (some of which are still active). The City used to be the capital of Spain's Central American colonies yet a huge earthquake in the 1700s led them to abandon the city and move the capital to Guatemala City. Yet some residents remained and maintained the City for a much smaller population. This is like Guatemala's version of Rome with numerous ruins of churches and prominent governmental buildings. Currently the City is very well maintained with beautiful cobbled-streets, colorful homes, and hundreds of beautiful courtyards. While it is not the most "authentic" place in Guatemala due to the high number of tourists and English speakers, a trip for an urban enthusiast to Guatemala would not be complete without a visit to Antigua. Enjoy! Here is my full Flickr Set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/54815043@N06/sets/72157632204640801/ Antigua's most iconic shot: Antigua (11) by rockafeller06, on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/54815043@N06/sets/72157632204640801/ Antigua (14) by rockafeller06, on Flickr Antigua (9) by rockafeller06, on Flickr Antigua (16) by rockafeller06, on Flickr Antigua (20) by rockafeller06, on Flickr Antigua (21) by rockafeller06, on Flickr The City's Central Square.
