I hope Youngstown can decrease the homicide rate in their city, I believe they can. What did Dayton Finish with for the year? I think they were under 30, am I correct? Hopefully cities have started off this year good.

David, I believe the term Homicide is used synonomously with Murder in this context. Cleveland is now up to 134 I believe. http://www.cleveland.com/crime/

Thank you for the responses. Atleast Cincy has decreased alot from the last few years. What were the major causes for the large increase after 2000? (99') 29, (00') 15, then in 2001 55 homicides which increased to 89 last year with a rate of nearly 29 per 100,000.

I think Cleveland is at 122, Toledo is at 12. What about the other large cities in Ohio? Dayton, Youngstown, Columbus, Cincy, Akron, Lorain.
