Your wish has been granted...... http://www.hamilton-co.org/commissioners/ Click on "meeting minutes"... Then view information...meeting agendas (will have minutes "agenda and disposition"), will be available by expanding the particular date and time for completed meetings, allowing time for them to be posted Dig in!
  3. Timely article http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/0508/feature1/fulltext.html
  4. They did the right thing...It was cheaper to build the center when Fort Washington Way was under construction (same thing with the FWW deck --- piles where sunk in the median to support the center pier)
  5. Target plan off mark, say some Sycamore residents don't want 'big box' in backyards By Maggie Downs Enquirer staff writer HAVE YOUR SAY County Commissioner Phil Heimlich plans to host a public meeting about the proposed Blue Ash Target store development at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Deer Park High School. ADVERTISEMENT SYCAMORE TWP. - It's the kind of neighborhood where kids can knock on a neighbor's door for help with a scraped knee, where you can walk a dog at midnight without worry, where everybody knows everybody. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050807/NEWS01/508070358
  6. ^Baker said some residents talk about an eventual buyout of their subdivision, which is only a few years old and our friends thought we were crazy buying a new house nearby an airport
  7. I wonder how many have acutally built equity in the houses and did "trade up" as mentioned in the article; and how many are up "to their eyeballs" in debt
  8. From I-275 Northward. Exit and Entrance Ramps pointing north on I-275 were reconfigured as auxillary lanes (e.g. no merge), becoming the 4 lane NB and SB. A portion of the existing CD lanes at the interchange were also reconstructed, esp the EB I-275 to NB 75 clover merge with the WB to NB 75 Ramp where a merge area was added (it was a one lane ramp tha handled both ramps and did not function well.). The new I/C works well, However I think they should have striped the SB 75 exit ramp for WB/EB 275 ramps to have the outside new 4th lane exit for 275 WB only, and the inside lane for 275 EB/ and or continue on 75 SB. The one lane exit ramp backs up, and if you look at the signs right at the gore there, it almost looks like that was supposed to be the case (side by side signs EB 275 pointing down right to the painted gore) Otherwise the interchange footprint was largely unaffected by the most current 75 project (2k4)

  21. I wish Cincy tried to phase in LR, instead of going for the Taj Mahal right off the bat. Use the existing rail line along the 1-71 corridor (roughly parallels Montgomery Road). Inre Pittsburg, how sucessful are thri busways?
  22. Well, not quite. According to 1st Q 2005 ridership http://www.apta.com/research/stats/ridershp/riderep/documents/05q1rep.pdf Cleveland RTA rideship for the total system is 14,100,000, and the San Diego LR line (San Diego trolley) is 6,600,000. http://www.ntdprogram.com/ntd/NTDData.nsf/2003+TOC/Table19/$File/Table+19++Transit+Operating+Statistics+-+Service+Supplied+and+Consumed.pdf Shows for 2003, RTA unlinked trips at 59,642 and passenger miles at 259,872, and for San Diego LR Unlinked Trips 25,175 and passenger miles at 159,356 I'm not arguing the success of San Diego's LR line (up 6.8%), and the numbers show it. But I had to denounce your obviously false claim that one mode in a western city could carry more passengers than an ENTIRE system in a large midwest city.
  23. yup...now stump us!
  24. EZ only if you are a native West Sider ;-) Looked like an airstrip at 1st...then it dawned on me http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=39.278843,-84.372962&spn=0.011436,0.013923&t=k&hl=en The complex on both sides of the road

I live in Silverton and on my street there is 3 homes that are vacant but they have not been occupied for years...mainly renters in and out. How ever if i go down woodford or montgomery road i see a ton of available apartments and houses for sale.. Silverton maybe a different animal, and rentals have been hurting for years due to the low mortgage rates. Silverton has a lot of rentals, I think. I saw signs for a new subdivision up the hill from Stewart road, near Ken Arbre, any info?
