Cleveland: Cleveland State University: Development and News
I actually do not mind the grass and the setback. The student center is technically set back and so is the rest of the CSU buildings all the way down to the business center. Remember this is a University Campus. I am all for density and buildings right next to the street to create a bustling area but this area is bustling and has many walkers anyways. If you walk past there or drive by there during classes it is like a mini new York city feel. If the building is setback I do not feel that this will have any affect on anything. Students will still need to walk to the building.

Cleveland: Cuyahoga County Gov't properties disposition (non-Ameritrust)
What about the Jacobs building on public square that was proposed? That was 20 some stories, would the county move in there? And maybe Jacobs would bump the building up by 20 stories to make it a 40 story complex with a residential component? rentals, condos?

Cleveland: Demolition Watch
Ok if it is a landmark and it is condemned than what is the purpose of keeping it? I took a friend from out of town around cleveland to show him around and when we past the site of where the parking garage is going his first comment was "why did they not knock down that building?" I did not have a direct answer so that is why I am asking. Also I can not find the answer on that thread since it is impossible to try to search on here.

Cleveland: Demolition Watch
I tried reading about it online and there's no information. Does anyone have any ties to city hall? Is there any new news if they are going to demo this or make it a historic landmark? It seems to be in the waiting mode. But what are they going to do in the meantime on the site?
