Seems Cincinnati is getting bad review\comments on http://www.city-data.com
Activity level on that forum is really active as well and it seems a lot of people who are thinking of moving here post up questions about Cincinnati before they move here.

Seems Cincinnati is getting bad review\comments on http://www.city-data.com
I came across the website forum at http://www.city-data.com/forum/cincinnati/ and noticed a lot of negativity about Cincinnati from the people on that forum. Some of the comments are incorrect. I think we (downtown Cincinnati ambassadors) should join that forum and start shedding positive light on Cincinnati.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
gotch ya......I was just talking with my wife and she said some of her co-workers live in OTR and say they like it, but are thinking of moving because they can't find places to go out after 6. Hopefully the street car will solve that problem.

Cincinnati: Downtown: 580 Building
I'm all for outside seating, it's always nice to sit outside while dining. Restaurants\bars should start using more outside seating, it attracts people.

Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
I think a good idea is to try and get some kind of commitment by some restaurants, retail, and especially a grocery store(KROGER) commit to buying property along the line some where. I'm all for the streetcars, but I'm affriad it will fail because the people of cincinnati won't except it, make use of it, etc.....

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
dmbfanatpsu replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Southwest Ohio Projects & ConstructionDoes anyone go to fountain square on Sundays during Bengals away games? My wife and I and some friends went down once. Interesting mix of people. One thing that did catch my attention was the number of what seemed to be tourist. Their was definitly 2 seperate groups of people that we saw that wern't speaking english and looked foreign.

Cincinnati undesirable for young people?
I think that downtown Cincinnati needs to start advertising more. I've seen some advertising on the highways, but I'm talking TV commercials. Also, peoples images of Cincinnati need to change. I'm not sure about everyone else on here, but I'm in favor of the street car downtown. Their seems to be a fair amount of people against the street car and those same people are the ones who have a bad image of downtown. Interesting comments of the street car can be found here: http://frontier.cincinnati.com/comments/threadview.asp?threadid=177

Cincinnati undesirable for young people?
I too moved here 4 years ago from PA. and I can tell you that I wasn't planning on living here and buying a home, but fell in love with Cincinnati. It's a great city and I think a big problem is that the people, esp. the young, don't give the city any credit. My wife and I temporarly moving over seas for 2 years, and I can tell you that if the banks project, street car project, etc....aren't moving forward, we may actually look at another city to live in. Just my 2 cents.
