Keep open to the idea of living near W 25th, It is one rapid stop away from Public Square. On nice days, it is a nice walk across the Detroit Superior Bridge (there is a new pedestrian lane on the bridge)

  4. Well, we will find out in an hour, but the cerimonies are scheduled for the Waldorf-Astoria in March. Maybe it is a concert

The company I choose for reliability and promptness, as well as service is Southwest. The percentage of times I have been stranded in connecting cities with Continental and (especially) Northwest is outrageous. Southwest has never stranded me. As for service, for me nothing compares to a genuine smile, I would take that over an assigned seat any day of the week.
  6. Concert club. See if Beachland Ballroom people would be interested in running it

    MTS is back!
  10. Would Scranton Peninsula work for the location of both the CC and the MM? Is there enough size, and could roads be reconfigured for easy highway access for trucks? (toss up question)
  11. Anyone mention Gateway for Cleveland? Great Lakes brewing company. the Lake (Edgewater looking west) a burning river (JUST KIDDING) and FREE STAMP ROCKS! The history of the piece of art is so cool too. I love how its history actually changed the meaning of the artwork.
  12. Is the marina at Whiskey Island still used? Is it owned by the state? Perhaps they can relocate the state marina to Whiskey Island.
  13. ^^So, the banks don't hire Dick Feagler? hmm

I think Great Lakes, and Crooked River, created the market for local craft beer. Now with the recent hoarding of Christmas Ale, the market looks ready to grow
  17. He may be thinking about the development I live in here in the south loop of Chicago OK, I am buying a freaking camera, and I will take pictures. I just remember Litt being enamored with the fact that a semi public park was built into the development. It is not much, but it is used quite a bit
  18. I guessed IT because that is the only industry I think of when I think of Seattle (right or wrong). Now if you were in the medical field, CLE would be the place to be. Actually, as a manufacturing engineer, there are a lot of opportunities in Cleveland.
  19. A lot has changed in 5 years. And I am guessing you are in IT?
  20. One downtown location...wonder which one. I still think that even if it is in midtown, the visitors will still come to downtown, and still stay downtown. They will just hop in a cab, shuttle or even the silver line to go to the convention. While downtown is good, it is not as unique as university circle. So if visitors never make it downtown, but spend a day there, it may leave a more lasting impression on them. Just a thought

we are less walkable than HOUSTON have these people ever been to these cities. When I lived in Houston people could not give me walking directions from Downtown to Rice Village. After offering me rides, asking me what was wrong with my car, ect, the only directions people could give me involvled freeways. BTW, to get from Downtown Houston to Rice Village....walk down main street 3 miles.
  25. Count me in for the 28th
