Another one coming to Cleveland...
I lived in the southside for a VERY brief period in 2001. I would say Ohio City would be a good fit comparison. It is not as compact as Carson street, but it is rapidly filling in. A second choice would be W.65th and Detroit the Gordon Square area. A third choice would be Cedar/Lee area of Cleveland Hts, a fourth would be tremont. They all have treads here and in the NEO Construction pages. Hope this helps, and welcome to Cleveland! You will never have to hear "youins" again :)

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Well, the medical mart is going to go into Higbees. It looks like the entire first floor has already been gutted. I know the CVB was going into the first floor, what I was wondering is how much of the first floor they are going to take. And I guess I was speculating that if the CVB was only taking a small corner, then maybe the medical mart is quietly starting regardless of the convention center. But, I haven't been able to find the info on how much space the CVB is going to take.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Is the visitors bureau going to take up the entire first floor of the Higbee's building. When I was home last week, it looked like some serious demo was going on.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I just flew into Cleveland to meet my newest nephew and took the rapid to and from the airport. Compared to the Chicago CTA, I thought the trains went very fast. Also, the train cars are at least twice as long as their Chicago counterparts. After being used to the EL in Chicago, my RTA experience was pleasantly surprising.

you know, about the galleria, my Dad worked on the construction there. When I worked at the Koenig's there, he said he would not step foot in there because of the shotty construction. But, then again, it is still standing

ODOT Policy Discussion
The sense that I'm getting is that these (and some/many other) line items that Strickland had proposed for increased funding fell victim to the House GOP's effort to pile up funding for their top priorities, especially higher education. Did I read that right, one of the GOP's top priorites is higher education? Since when?
