Cleveland: Population Trends
Houston is going to see a drop this year, due to oil prices. There have been nearly 100,000 layoffs

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
There would be some amount of poetic justice if the new court was built on the parking lots nearby. Most of those surface lots were warehouses until the new Justice Center drove up the demand for surface parking.

Cleveland: Hotels, Conventions, and Tourism News & Info
I agree, but I still hope the CVB bends over backwards to keep the AP awards. Just give them a little bit of the love they are asking for, and deserve, and this episode goes away (I hope)

CLEVELAND - Aired out and Red Lined with a shot of Whiskey from the East
Every shot is a postcard, but my favorite is the terminal tower photo bombing E&Y building

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
So one chain uber bar was replaced with another chain uber bar. There has been a Margaritaville in the French Quarter for a while and while not a local spot, it really isnt that obnoxious (they just closed the lower Decatur bar, but say they are designing another bar in the upper quarter)

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Is there room at Tower City, near the Federal courthouse? Also, what is the story with the Cleveland portion of the Justice center, which is municipal courts and the Police Headquarters (right?)

Cleveland: Hotels, Conventions, and Tourism News & Info
Can they move the awards show just this one year, two weeks earlier or later? I DESPERATELY want the AP awards to stay in Cleveland.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
My brother is pretty high up at Sherwin, and they take a lot of pride in the fact that their facility on the river pre-dates Tower City, they consider Landmark to be kind of an extension of that property. I can't imagine them moving far from that facility. In the banner, our home since 1866, they are actually showing the riverfront facility (along with the skyline)

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
They are probably trying to secure more leases, which will in tern make financing easier. So, a bit of downtime is to be expected. But, phase 1 on the other hand, should have already kicked off if it were to make the 2016 RNC cut off

Cleveland City Council
I'm still sore about the whole casino garage thing, and earlier with him trying to secure the convention center for the casino, but ParkWorks? The city gets a great bang for the buck working with them.

New UrbanOhio.com Design Input
I actually liked the new layout, but don't mind this one either

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
KA is the architecture firm who could not figure out how to build a garage without tearing down the Columbia and later the Stanley Block. I don't think they "get" city architecture, so the suburbs will be a good fit

Detroit: Developments and News
For generations Cleveland has been waiting for a savior, probably since the day after an angry mob ran Rockefeller out of town. I would rather have a dozen leaders like Geis, Maron, Wolstein, Art Falco, Zack Bruel, Michael Symon, Chris Connor of Sherwin, Beth Mooney of Key, Ann Zoeler of Parkworks, Chris Ronayne, Graham Veysay, and the Ratner Family*** rather than put the future of the city into one man's hands ***im sure everyone's list of 12 CLE leaders is different

Im not sure, I'll wait until they give a year when construction will start.

I still don't understand the hostility to this idea. I'm pushing for a system like this in New Orleans
