There was one later at Tower city That's all I can remember, although if I went in and looked at the store fronts I could probably recall more. I think most of the stores relocated to tower city when it opened. There was a Koenig sporting goods, and a Thomas Kincade gallery

Forest City is a successful homegrown company HQed in CLE. They do a great job maintaining Terminal Tower. They do uber-big developments these days. I don't think what they do now is right for Cleveland. Give the Marons, the K&Ds, the Starks, and the Geis, and the Optimas keep doing what they are doing and the city will keep growing.

I wouldn't complain if the mix of offices and retail were similar to Eaton Collection. What I do expect is national chain restaurants like Maggiano's, or PappaDeaux to be part of the mix. What would be nice is if Trader Joe's, who is at both Eaton and Crocker Park, were part of the mix

Just for fun, go back and read the first couple of pages of this thread. Besides the doubt that we would that we had any business even bidding in the games, there was worry if we could pull it off well. I think the city and the event were AWESOME

^The club has always been envisioned as a outdoor club, and from the early renderings, it did not look like a lot of structure would be built to accomodate it. As shown above shipping containers COULD be used in a attractive manner, but that depends on the design. However, I like the tie in with the port nearby and the large ships that will navigate the river as the outdoor patrons will see.

I would trade 515 for a lakefront cluster. That said, this project (w/ the dumb name) is such an unexpected delight!

The biggest difference being they will own this land. They will want to maximize that investment

I don't recommend staying on Bourbon street for more than two hours, and restaurants are definitely hit or miss in the quarter

Hey, I just wanted to offer any UOer or UOan a friendly voice of a local when anyone visits New Orleans. Living in tourist town can make it tough to spend the day with visitors every time someone I know comes down, because that is nearly every weekend. (AND, I'm not offering to shelter y'all) But, if you wanted to visit the crescent city, I can offer: -Advice on where to stay -What to do, what to see, and what not to waste your time doing -Meet you up for a drink to chat about your trip and all things UO! I hope people take me up on it, and other members offer the same things for their current cities of residence.
