There are many valid reasons to be opposed to the OC. But, this group seems to always start the argument that it should be opposed because it is a highway, and we should not be building more highways. Since this road is clearly not a highway, it is hard me as a supporter of the project to listen to any other points that could be made. If the first/best argument isn't true, why continue listening? KJP, and other UOers, maybe you can use some influence there to try to have a more fact based debate. Just my two cents. (P.S. Also, this road is NOT in the southeast corner of the city, make them stop saying that too, please)

Bob Brown's legacy will be of how much was destroyed, rather than what was built. Im not angry anymore, just sad.

Does the city have any programs that help maintain or find new uses for landmark buildings? I know there are federal and state tax credits, but what about the city?

With the new job, I stepped up to the Dymo plug and play label maker for my computer. The only problem, it comes with literally hundreds of fonts. Well, Crowne Plaza is off the market, as well as Embassy Suites. Add a dip in supply to an increase in visitors due to the casino, I can see a bump. I'm too lazy to look, but I wonder if there were more home games for the Browns this October vs. last.
